The fourth season of “Hell’s Kitchen” starts Tuesday, and yes I’ll admit, I’m a fan of the show. I’m not sure why. I don’t usually like to see people ridiculed or embarrassed, but for some reason I love the show.

Fox’s publicity department sent me a first episode screener. I love getting those! I watched it the other night and of course, I’m hooked again.

Chef Ramsey is as rude and obnoxious as ever, but I say that with all due respect. I interviewed him after Season 1 and he was real nice, not at all like you see him on the show.

As for Season 4, if you’ve been a fan of the show, you won’t be disappointed. The “contestants” run the gamut, from a hotel cook to a stay at home dad. Only problem with the screener…they didn’t show me who got eliminated!

One interesting note – this season’s winner will be a senior chef at Gordon Ramsey’s new London restaurant in West Hollywood. It’s supposed to open this summer.

So watch Tuesday night. I will be. And let me know what you think.

Hi Jane!

I can see why Gordon Ramsey would scream and run his mouth at the contestants. If Ramsey is bent over the porcelain throne, what does it say about the food the chefs are cooking? It must be that bad! Now I don't condone his actions, but I sure do understand it. Tuesday night is going to be a wild ride of a night!

Jane, I'd like to see those chefs try to make a great Japanese dish or two. I'm a Sansei, and I think our type of food is underrepresented in the culinary field! Wouldn't that be a sight to see?

From one whacked out Buddahead:

i don't really like hell's kitchen, but i do like the spin off show, where he helps out resturants that are close to going out of business. i think it's amazing that he's able to turn things around for them, and help them get on their feet. just shows that hard work, and a lil advice from a world class professinal can go along way.

I love hell's kitchen! Last season Chef Ramsey offered to pay for Julia to attend Culinary School. I'm interested in what happened with that. I will be present and accounted for tonight.

Hey Jane they posted the Chef on youtube uncensored. Now why can't FOX be like England and run him that way after 11PM??? Oh well, we all know the Chef uses all of the English language. Enjoy!

I call it idiot t.v.

anyone can hire a bunch of knuckleheads who know nothing about food and yell at their incompetence.

how bout hiring a gaggle of rookie cops (idiots) put them in a police car (kitchen) and have an obnoxious training officer with a british accent (ramsey) ridicule them in front of the public.

3 things would happen...shoot themselves in the foot, shoot someone else in the foot or shoot the chef.

I'm waiting for a hells kitchen ding-a-ling to lose it, and from across the room use ramsey's ten-ring for a little high speed blade therapy.

I like the show but i see "Hells Kitchen" as more bully than bravado.
