Another chapter in the Senator Reid vs American Law. Senator Reid made sure that appointed Senator Roland Burris did not gain entry into the Senate yesterday. After Reid mandated and enforced his own laws in the Senate, he held a news conference.

Senator Reid: Today, I stood with the people of America by denying Governor Blagojevich’s tainted selection of Roland Burris entry to these sacred Senate chambers. After my conditions were explained, Mr. Burris chose to leave.

Reporter(1):  Senator, it is said that the conditions were racist

Senator Reid: No, that is a false allegation. Mr. Burris was told he could stay under a few conditions. First, he had to sit at the back of the Senate chambers. Second he was not allowed to use the Senate rest rooms, and lastly he was not allowed to use the Senate water fountains. Those are not racist, they are just considerations of the elected Senators.

Reporter(2):  Senator, those terms do sound racist. We would love to protect you and all, but when you tell us your terms; would you like to retract any of those statements? Please?

Senator Reid: Don’t question me. I am the not tainted like Governor Blagojevich or Mr. Burris? I don't care what the "law" says, I want things my way.

Reporter(3):  Senator, President Clinton could have been considered “tainted” because of his impeachment and being disbarred because of his perjury charges. Yet he continues to be in the good graces of Democrats. Why are you being so lynching Poland Burris?

Senator Reid: The two situations are different. That is enough for now. We will continue to uphold the Constitution in this Senate. Please be patient with us as we proceed with this processes.

Todays news conference with Senate House Majority Leader Harry Reid (D).

Reporter(1): Senator, why won’t you allow Governor Blagojevich’s selection of Roland Burris to enter the Senate?

Reid: Well, because of his connection to Governor Blagojevich, he is tainted.

Reporter(1): So are you saying then that if one politician is some how connected to another politician who is tainted, both become tainted?

Reid: In this case, that is exactly what I mean.

Reporter(2): Then isn’t President-select Obama tainted with his connection to Reverend Wright or William Ayers and their anti-American views?

Reid: No, those two men you mentioned are not politicians, so there is no connection.

Reporter(2): Then what about Governor Richardson? Will he taint President-select Obama?

Reid: No

Reporter(3): Is it because Roland is black that you choose to refuse him entry? Senator are you a racist?

Reid: No.

Reporter(3): Who would you allow Senator? Would you allow Jesse Jackson Jr?

Reid: I don’t want Burris, I don’t want Jackson and I don’t want Emil Jones.

Reporter(4): Senator, is it because they are all black candidates, and you are a racist as the media reports? Is it true that as you rant against racism, you yourself are a closet racist?

Reid: It has nothing to do with their color. Look, the Democrats lost power back in 1994 and we have vowed not to lose it again. I want a Senate candidate who brings money and power to his seat. It isn’t about serving the people anymore; it is about serving the party and ensuring the party stays in power. No further questions.

What do hope and change look like after the 2008 election? It isn’t looking very hopeful for the American People. - HybridTalk

Pelosi Erases Gingrich's Long-Standing Fairness Rules

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation. Pelosi’s proposals are so draconian, and will so polarize the Capitol, that any thought President-elect Obama has of bipartisan cooperation will be rendered impossible before he even takes office.

Remember when Gingrich and his team promised to do away with the Ruling Class mentality and make government in Washington D.C. open and accountable? Looks like we will be saying, “those were the days” because then Ruling Class has returned and they are going behind closed doors, as policy.

Pelosi’s rule changes -- which may be voted on today -- will reverse the fairness rules that were written around Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with

In Orwellian fashion, they will next move to pass the “Fairness Doctrine” so that there can be no resistance to their views and laws.

After decades of Democrat control of the House of Representatives, gross abuses to the legislative process and several high-profile scandals contributed to an overwhelming Republican House Congressional landslide victory in 1994.

But American’s have short memories, and they forgot how corrupt the D-party is.

Reforms to the House Rules as part of the Contract with America were designed to open up to public scrutiny what had become under this decades-long Democrat majority a dangerously secretive House legislative process. The Republican reform of the way the House did business included opening committee meetings to the public and media, making Congress actually subject to federal law, term limits for committee chairmen ending decades-long committee fiefdoms, truth in budgeting, elimination of the committee proxy vote, authorization of a House audit, specific requirements for blanket rules waivers, and guarantees to the then-Democrat minority party to offer amendments to pieces of legislation.

Well, that was then, and now we have a new Ruling Class. I expect an American Kristallnacht soon that will ensure Democrat power for many years to come.

Thomas Jefferson vs Barak Obama.

"To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it."
-- Thomas Jefferson, letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6, 1816

"It's not that I want to punish your success," Obama told him. "I want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success, too. Then, Obama explained his trickle-up theory of economics. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

-- Senator Barak Obama to Joe the Plumber on wealth redistribution

"Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare but only those specifically enumerated."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"As radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical.  It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it has been interpreted -- and Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you. But it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf. "

-- Barak Obama interview on Public Radio station WBEZ-FM in 2001

It seems the Colin Powell has lost his mind. He was one of the “moderate” (AKA:Liberal) Republicans (among others) who demanded the McCain candidate. They voiced an opinion that the GOP could not win this last election with a Conservative candidate and they wanted a moderate like McCain. They wanted McCain!!!

Then weeks before the election Powell and his other “moderate” team mates who forced McCain on the GOP stabbed McCain in the back and abandoned SHIP for the Good Ship Obama. This left a number of GOP Conservatives like me wanting to know how this treachery happened. I wanted all the names of the sellouts who demanded McCain then abandoned him just before the election, so next time they spoke I could associate them with the right party (well, the LEFT party, if you know what I mean).

Now, Colin Powell, (AKA: The insane one) is calling for the Republican party to be more like him (the one who didn’t vote for the candidate he demanded and said would be our best) and less like GOP Conservatives (who voted for McCain). So, what does this really translate to? He wants the GOP to be Liberal Democrats? He expects anyone to heed his advice? Colin Powell is insane.

Looks like the media is back to being civil when it comes to Republican Congress people. I heard yesterday that Senator George Voinovich made a comment about the new Capitol Visitors Center helping to keep the smell of the visitors at bay. I would have thought the media (AKA: Obama campaign team) would be all over Voinovich for those comments. In the past, the media scrutiny would be such that the Senator would be resigning by weeks end. Nice to see the media almost ignore this story. (Great job)

Oh, and yesterday I gathered my mail and found 50 ballots for Al Franken hidden between bills and credit card offers. Should I just UPS those up to Minnesota or do you think he will need them?

This was interesting. A Zogby poll was commissioned on how Obama was elected.

The poll had 12 questions and was asked of 512 Obama voters and when complete the poll ran with the headline “Survey finds most Obama voters remembered negative coverage of McCain/Palin statements but struggled to correctly answer questions about coverage associated with Obama/Biden.”

The press release highlighted that at least 80% of Obama voters knew that Palin had a pregnant teenage daughter and was the candidate associated with a $150,000 wardrobe, and that McCain was unable to identify the number of houses he owned. Meanwhile, more than 80% didn’t know unflattering facts about Obama, such as his successful efforts to have opponents removed from the ballot in his first political race and his comments that critics have interpreted to mean his energy policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry.

Five other questions covered events or comments during the primary or from decades ago, including Obama’s first campaign and a Biden presidential bid in 1987 done in by charges of plagiarism in law school and on the campaign trail. On four of these questions, the correct answer was chosen more frequently than the other three candidates combined, but many voters — on some questions, most — were unsure. On three questions, fewer than 25% of respondents got the right answer, prompting Ziegler to tell Fox News “that a group of monkeys if they had been guessing would have done better than Obama voters” on those questions, not because Obama voters were unintelligent but because they were misinformed.

512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!! (Brainwashed voters?)

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

RED = McCain

BLUE = Obama

 Testing my air pressure.

Looks like Ohio is a Blue State now. We can only hope that the same success the Liberals brought to states like Michigan and Louisiana will come to Ohio. We can look at Cuyahoga County as a starting point of the “change” we can expect.

Maybe we can be like the Blue State of California where gay marriage is out and radical green policies have been voted down, by Liberal Californians. That was unexpected, but I read where the HUGE amount of Obama voters came out and voted down Gay marriage and “green” issues. Who would have thought something like that would be reported out of California, the land of fruits and nuts.

I kept hearing that Obama would win by a landslide this election cycle, but I didn’t hear much about it after the election. Turns out things were pretty close vote wise. Obama had 52% of the votes. Now, if that was a landslide, what did they call Bush’s second term where he received 53% of the votes? Wait, didn’t the Liberals in Congress and in the media tell us that was no mandate, and 53% meant nothing? So when we apply the math on 52%, what should we learn?

One news item of civility was Bush’s announcement that his team would provide a smooth transition for Team Obama. I wonder if PresidentBush remembers how the Clinton Team played those immature pranks on the incoming Bush organization, sabotaging phones, bashing holes in walls, stopping up toilets in the White House, and taking all the “W” keys from all the computers. Remember those events? And I wonder if the Bush family will take the Presidential china home with them?

Ok, maybe a little over the top, but it was thought provoking.

It isn’t over until God says it is over.

If you are reading through the One Year Bible, you just read Ezekiel Chapter 7, and you saw many parallels between the people of Israel’s relationship to God and America’s.

The first couple of verses read:

1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says to the land of Israel: The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land. 3 The end is now upon you and I will unleash my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. 4 I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will surely repay you for your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

You can read the whole chapter at:

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=eze%207&
version=31

I am not saying THIS IS THE END and God will judge us because of Obama. No, no, no that is not what I am saying at all. I am commenting on the parallels between the two nations. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

 I report, God decides.

Now that Obama has been elected by the majority of Americans, the mainstream media feels comfortable reporting what they knew (or didn't know) about him, but were unwilling to report during the months of the campaign.

Tom Brokaw was a guest on the Charlie Rose show. Here is some of what they said about Obama.

Tom Brokaw a week ago today, (paraphrasing) "We don't know anything about him. It's an interesting question, he's written two books, largely autobiographical, we really don't know what his views on China are, Charlie."

So they didn't know anything about him and here just a week before his election.

Here is more of their conversation.

ROSE:  I don't know what Barack Obama's worldview is.

BROKAW:  No, I don't either.

ROSE:  I don't know how he really sees where China is.

BROKAW:  We don't know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy.

ROSE:  I don't really know.  And do we know anything about the people who are advising him?

BROKAW:  You know that's an interesting question.

ROSE:  He is principally known through his autobiography and through very inspirational speeches, two of them.

BROKAW:  I don't know what books he's read.

ROSE:  What do we know about the heroes of Barack Obama?

BROKAW:  There's a lot about him we don't know.

I wonder, do those of you who elected Obama feel uncomfortable about this?

When the media that tried so hard to fool you into voting for Obama comes out later and admits they don’t really know much about the candidate they pushed on you, do you feel bamboozled?

It has been twenty four hours now, and I was contemplating the election results. Here are some random thoughts.

Jesus Christ is still Lord of lords and King of kings and none of his plans have changed for restoring his Kingdom and his people. Sinners still are rebelling. Sinners still need saved. Jesus still is the source of that salvation.

Over fifty percent of Americans appear to want to toss out what the Founding Fathers gave us and replace it with what the Founding Fathers were fighting to be free from. But the good news is that we are no longer a racist nation.

I noticed that the election ended on election night, and since the Democrats won, the results are not being challenged. No lawyers or Supreme Court Justices called in to return a favor. No hanging chads or claims of voting machines being tampered with. Just a reminder of what BAD LOSERS the Democrats are. They are like crying little girls when they lose.

At the beginning of the election cycle those Moderate RINOs said that the new “Conservative” was more like McCain, and they pushed for McCain as their party leader. Then three weeks before the election, the same people abandoned McCain for Obama. Note to self: Time to find a new political party that is not ashamed of the historic greatness of Conservativism. If the RINOs want to be like Liberals, let them stay in the Obama party.

How long before the Obama disciples realize they voted for a man, and not a superman who could fix health care in a single executive order, or leap tall problems with even taller piles of tax dollars?

Those political ads on TV are finally over and the calls to my house have stopped!

Make retirement plans and stay out of debt. Call about tax shelters.

Yea! Election Day is finally here! I dressed in my “Operation Chaos” shirt under my dress shirt, and headed to the polling place with my wife. There was a big crowd of electioneers we had to run the gauntlet on, but it was fun to pause at the Obama team and tell them I was “voting for change” today <WINK>. They thought that was great.

We entered and found our precinct was the shorter line. This was going to be easy. We had a few people ahead of us, and while we waited one of the voters was told he had already voted. This created a ruckus as the voter insisted he had not voted yet, but their records showed he had voted two weeks ago. <ACORN> The poll workers said they would call their hot-line and find out what they could do. The poor guy had to sit and wait while they sorted it out.

We finished, and as we were leaving I walked over to the Obama people again and we joked about those McCain voters, and how he didn’t have a chance to win this election. A woman came over and asked IF I would like to do an exit poll and I told her I voted for Obama.

We headed for the car and made a clean get away. The final mission of Operation Chaos was complete. Now let’s see if America chooses the Moderate or the Socialist.

Looking for the Sun to come up tomorrow...

I’ve got a feeling, a feeling I can’t hide. This election has been a challenge and made waves across the universe. I don’t much care for this election’s politics, but I support Palin and hope she keeps going down the long and winding road of politics as a Conservative in America. The two of us see America as a great place that should not be converted to a Socialist State that is all about I, Me, Mine.

So, don’t let me down. If you feel like hiding on election day, get back to where you once belonged. Do it for the two of us. And if our guy doesn’t get the nod, for now, just let it be, and pray for our nation.
