John McCain is a danger to our rights and to our safety. McCain is a extremist protestant. McCain is against extreme sports (most notably MMA), is against contraception, would enforce bad education policies, deny health care to those who need it, and would ban stem cell research (which could save the lives of those with horrible diseases). .... wait we already have all this, courtesy of George W.

Can we trust a person who is backed by extremist pastors.  Pastors like John Hagee, who made claims that the Nazi did what God wanted. But that's not all pastor Rod Parsley who has called Islam an inherently violent religion, also supports McCain.

If by now you haven't realized this post is a spoof on the anti-Obama posts. Obama isn't the only one with pastor problems. It's easy to make these claims that someone is a religious zealot by stretching the truth about their religion and their beliefs. The only difference between McCain and Obama in this comparisons is that Obama isn't actually Muslim. And to those who note that his parents were, I say it doesn't matter. Just because somebodies parents are in one religion doesn't mean they are. Religious views can change between generations. I can say that from experience, my parents are Catholic, I was raised as one, went to catholic school for 8 years, but I'm an agnostic and so are my sisters.  If you want to claim that Obama didn't practice Islam say that he could say that he wasn't Muslim and get into office, think of how absurd that plan sounds.

My mother and father were and are both ardent Catholics.

I'm an atheist.

Barrack Obama's mother was an white atheist from Kansas, his father was an Kenyan muslim. Obama himself is a Christian.

As a side note, Barrack has worked as a community organizer in Chicago helping working class people who lost their jobs due to plant closings get reeducated and retrained and find new jobs.

His work on the South Side of Chicago helped alot of working poor and middle class families overcome alot of the bad economic policies of the Reagan and first Bush administrations policies.

Like Bush 41 said as he campaigned against Clinton, "Change, change, change. That is all those guys talk about; and all you will have left when they are finished taxing you."
This just in, Rev Wright, famed anti-white and anti-America pastor of Barak Obama has announced his support for Senator John McCain. Wright commented, “You know, for a white guy, McCain isn’t that bad, all things considered.”

Check the history of Islam. It was founded by warfare when Muhammad attacked and defeated Mecca with his army. That was when Islam was established in Mecca. From that point of you could become his follower or be beheaded. Your choice.

Many Conservatives and Republicans believe that Islam is a violent religion and that Muslims should be kicked out of the U.S.- even if they are U.S. citizens whose families have lived in the U.S. for generations.

Some right wing Conservatives believe that we should attack Mosques and innocent Muslims (they don't believe any muslims are innocent) and should be killed.

Rod Parsley is simply a Republican pastor who preaches to people who already hate people who think and worship differently than himself and other Republicans - and that is his right.

And it is our right to tell people the truth about it.

ALL religions at some point in history have been involved in war. Go back to the Middle Ages, there's a trail of blood just as long from Christianity.

Today, many of these religions are still waging war. Not with violence but with intolerance and hate. By calling Islam "evil and a violent religion." By denying the same rights to gays. By siding with conservatives who are greedy and do not help the poor(as Jesus taught). By attacking scientific theories that have significant evidence backing them up, Evolution and man's influence on global warming.

When Conservative Republicans deny basic science like evolution and global warming, they are turning back the clock to the roots of the Middle Ages, when Christianity attempted to stiffle scientific discovery and punished scientists who were doing important research if they thought it was contrary to the doctrine of the Bible.

For instance, Galileo is the famous example of a scientists (an astronomer) who made put forward basic truths about our solar system.

The Conservatives in the Church disagreed and had him put to death.

Is this what will happen if we allow Conservative Christians a chance to overide scientific truth with religious dogma?

I am 19 years old, a raised Catholic Agnostic and I work at a bowling ally as a pinchaser. My hobbies include reading manga, playing chess in which my ELO rating is 1135, watching anime, messing with technology although my internet slang vocabulary is rather poor, and I am a 4th Kyu (green Belt) in Traditional Chinese Kenpo where I am also participating in Shoot-fighting. I intend to teach Karate for a living. I'm not the kind of person to boycott, protest or march because of something, whether or not I believe in it. However I would like to note that I have been boycotting McDonald's since August 2007, I intend to continue until they offer the regular menu at all hours. My website is http://jinchu.weebly.com/
