Really, is somebodies brain malfunctioning. Why would you want to put a strip club next to a Baseball stadium and Arena? According to radio DJ Bob Frantz, most people e-mailing his show have no problem with there being a strip club there. Although I wouldn't call a collection of emails from the audience of one DJ to be a scientific survey.

I for one don't have a problem with strip clubs, but if there is going to be a strip club in that area is should be one one or both of the following circumstances.
1: It is not directly by Indians Stadium; at least a few blocks away, not where people (mainly kids) will see it when walking to the Stadium.
2: It is nondescript: by looking at it you can't tell it is a strip club (save for a change in words like Adult club), no neon strip-pole in the window, and nothing can be seen from outside.

It's someones choice if they want to go to a strip club, but one shouldn't be so close to a family place that parents should have to worry about their kids seeing such a place.

sofa king, you are a riot!

hittokiri, the business owner has every right to have his store there as well as anywhere else.

ya, it stinks for the kids to see such things, but it is a part of reality.........what an opportunity to teach them something about decorum, morals & right from wrong huh?

Wait until this gets out nationally...the furor will fly then! Can you just see it when the Indians play off on their next World Series Games sometime in the future? Now that will be an embarrassment!

Unfortunately the owner of the strip club has a legal right to put his club there. However, if no one goes there, then you best believe he won't be there long. Since we're on the subject. I find it odd that strip clubs are even allowed to operate considering the definition of prositution. Strippers do except money in the form of a tip for a sexaul dance. the key word being sexual. It doesn't matter if they're 10 feet away, it's still excepting money for a sexual act. However, If I meet a women and we have some fun that night and later end up at her place or mine for a sexual encounter. If she mentions to me that her lights are about to get cut off or her gas tank is on E, if I leave her $100.00 on the night stand is that prostitution or helping a friend out?

the line between prostitution and sex is rather blurry if you asked me. By definition you're saying exotic dancing could be considered prostitution. But I've seen episodes of cops or like show where stings are done and they undercover cop will ask the price and she'll say nothing, but they can still be charged will soliciting sex.
