Marriage isn't necessarily "the right thing." Most shotgun marriages forced by unplanned premarital pregnancy among the young don't survive -- especially when one of the partners says he or she doesn't want kids, as Bristol Palin's beau did on his My Space page. So much for "abstinence only" sex education -- I guess the message didn't sink in at home. But it's not like marriage or abortion are the only two options. There is such a thing as carrying the baby to term and putting it up for adoption by adults capable and desirous of parenting.

I believe it really wouldn't matter if they got sex education or not. I grew up in a small remote town and can say, as a teenager if you even stopped at the condoms everyone would know before you even picked them up. Let alone being the governors daughter or daughters BF.. And I think for this reason you always heard about the pregnant cops/business owners/mayors daughter getting pregnant.

Sarah Palin the Republican nominee for Vice President has 5 children. Her oldest daughter is 5 months pregnant. She is 17 years old. This of course has not been great publicity. They are however planning on getting married.

LOL! Oh yea.. Obama is the true gentleman..NOT! Obama now went from the Savior to Pontious Pilot!

Obama doesn't seem to have a problem supporting the radical orgs like DailyKOS, MoveON, Huffington, etc. when there isn't any backlash, but this time he is scared to death that another association between him and the orgs that have ripped this family up will bite him!

Sorry Obama but expect very soon to see the commercial with Daily KOS printing their junk, THEN the shot of you speaking at their convention! A "gentleman" with nothing more than an excuse for opportunism! The Liberals know who these groups are, but take their money, speak at their conventions, and you can't turn it on and off like a lightswitch!

Just as you sat in a church for 23 years and just had no idea! Just as you launched your campaign from the home of a known terrorist and lied about your association with him. (those papers were released yesterday!.. expect THAT to show up in October as well)

Ok.. to topic... WHO says that the young expectant parents here are not actually in love? How long have they had a relationship? Looks to me like this young couple is getting more love and devotion from family than most have seen in a very long time!

Lets remember that Democrats ALWAYS take a shot at family! They couldn't help themselves with VP Cheney with his Gay daughter could they... The libs continue to jump across the line, then jump back, and pretend to take the high road?

First of all..
WHERE'S this "Shotgun Wedding" BS coming from..I've seen NOTHING to suggest that they weren't PLANNING to get married even BRFORE the Pregnancy..

And Secondly..

I see NO evidence that they were trying to HIDE anything..

So this old chestnut, well to me, marrying someone who...did that with you is sort of like backwards. Yes I'm old fashioned when it comes to this (and I'm 20!) first it's marriage, than you...do that. You know, save yourself for your true love...yeah a bit old fashioned. But it's still not the right thing. The right thing would've been to wait.

The liberals only bring it up because if you can't control your children, how will you lead a nation? Senator Obama's daughters are adorable and sweet, unlike Bush's daughters.

The problem with the left - regardless of the issue, is that they promote taking the easy way out.

It's easier to have the abortion than it is to actually go through with the pregnancy - and BTW, if you don't want the baby you can put it up for adoption - but that's hard too, so abortion is the way to go.

It's easier to just roll over on a war instead of making the necessary changes to win.

It's easier to use an "I'm reducing tax on 95% of the population" (notice not TAX PAYERS) and raise taxes on business and the EVIL RICH than it is to let people know the truth that with my "O"lection, you will be paying more money out of your pocket (one way or the other).

It's easier to tell the country that the good ole government will take care of all your needs than it is to tell people the hard truth that all these entitlements and income redistribution programs are nothing more that political crack, designed to get the public addicted, to create more dependency and to ensure personal political power.

My friends - its time to stop listening to all the media fluff and stuff - learn the REAL issues and start bellying up to the table of responsibility.

I KEEP SAYING THAT THERE'S MORE STUFF ON "OBAMA" THEN HE'S TELLING THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, THEY HAVE JUST DISCOVERED THAT AT AGE 25 HE HAD TIES TO ARAB BILLIONAIRE, THAT HAS TIES THE BLACK PANTHERS AND MANY MORE.

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE MEDIA WILL NOT LOOK INTO THINGS LIKE THIS IF YOUR RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, AND THEY STIIL CLEARED UP HIM BEING A CITIZEN AND THE DUAL CITIZENSHIP.
