Most of my Latino and black people who are struggling to get food, clothes and shelter in the hood are so concerned with that, that philosophising about freedom and socialist democracy is usually unfortunately beyond their rationale.
They don't realize that America can't exist without separating them from their identity, because if we had some sense of who we really are, there's no way in hell we'd allow this country to push it's genocidal consensus on our homelands. This ignorance exists, but it can be destroyed.
[...] talk about change and working within the system to achieve that. The problem with always being a conformist is that when you try to change the system from within, it's not you who changes the system; it's the system that will eventually change you.
There is usually nothing wrong with compromise in a situation, but compromising yourself in a situation is another story completely, and I have seen this happen long enough in the few years that I've been alive to know that it's a serious problem.
Latino America is a huge colony of countries whose presidents are cowards in the face of economic imperialism. You see, third world countries are rich places, abundant in resources, and many of these countries have the capacity to feed their starving people and the children we always see digging for food in trash on commercials. But plutocracies, in other words a government run by the rich such as this one and traditionally oppressive European states, force the third world into buying overpriced, unnecessary goods while exporting huge portions of their natural resources.
I'm quite sure that people will look upon my attitude and sentiments and look for hypocrisy and hatred in my words. My revolution is born out of love for my people, not hatred for others. You see, most of Latinos are here because of the great inflation that was caused by American companies in Latin America. Aside from that, many are seeking a life away from the puppet democracies that were funded by the United States; places like El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Columbia, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Republica Dominicana, and not just Spanish-speaking countries either, but Haiti and Jamaica as well.
As different as we have been taught to look at each other by colonial society, we are in the same struggle and until we realize that, we'll be fighting for scraps from the table of a system that has kept us subservient instead of being self-determined. And that's why we have no control over when the embargo will stop in Cuba, or when the bombs will stop dropping in Vieques. But you see, here in America the attitude that is fed to us is that outside of America there live lesser people
. "[...] them, let them fend for themselves."
No, [...] you, they are you. No matter how much you want to dye your hair blonde and put fake eyes in, or follow an anorexic standard of beauty, or no matter how many diamonds you buy from people who exploit your own brutally to get them, no matter what kind of car you drive or what kind of fancy clothes you put on, you will never be them. They're always gonna look at you as nothing but a little monkey.
I'd rather be proud of what I am, rather than desperately trying to be something I'm really not, just to fit in. And whether we want to accept it or not, that's what this culture or lack of culture is feeding us. I want a better life for my family and for my children, but it doesn't have to be at the expense of millions of lives in my homeland. We're given the idea that if we didn't have these people to exploit then America wouldn't be rich enough to let us have these little petty material things in our lives and basic standards of living.
No, that's wrong.
It's the business giants and the government officials who make all the real money. We have whatever they kick down to us. My enemy is not the average white man, it's not the kid down the block or the kids I see on the street; my enemy is the white man I don't see: the people in the white house, the corporate monopoly owners, fake liberal politicians those are my enemies. The generals of the armies that are mostly conservatives those are the real Mother-[...]ers that I need to bring it to, not the poor, broke country-ass soldier that's too stupid to know [...] about the way things are set up. In fact, I have more in common with most working and middle-class white people than I do with most rich black and Latino people. As much as racism bleeds America, we need to understand that classism is the real issue.
Many of us are in the same boat and it's sinking, while these bougie Mother-[...]ers ride on a luxury liner, and as long as we keep fighting over kicking people out of the little boat we're all in, we're gonna miss an opportunity to gain a better standard of living as a whole. In other words, I don't want to escape the plantation I want to come back, free all my people, hang the Mother-[...] that kept me there and burn the house to the god damn ground.
I want to take over the encomienda and give it back to the people who work the land. You cannot change the past but you can make the future, and anyone who tells you different is a [...] lethargic devil. I don't look at a few token Latinos and black people in the public eye as some type of achievement for my people as a whole. Most of those successful individuals are sell-outs and house Negros. But, I don't consider brothers a sell-out if they move out of the ghetto. Poverty has nothing to do with our people. It's not in our culture to be poor.
That's only been the last 500 years of our history; look at the last 2000 years of our existence and what we brought to the world in terms of science, mathematics, agriculture and forms of government. You know the idea of a confederation of provinces where one federal government controls the states? The Europeans who came to this country stole that idea from the Iroquois lead. The idea of impeaching a ruler comes from an Aztec tradition. That's why Montezuma was stoned to death by his own people 'cause he represented the agenda of white Spaniards once he was captured, not the Aztec people who would become Mexicans. So in conclusion, I'm not gonna vote for anybody just 'cause they black or Latino they have to truly represent the community and represent what's good for all of us proletariat.
Porque sino entonces te mando por el carajo [...] gusano hijo de [...], seramos libre pronto, viva la revolucion, VIVA LA REVOLUCION!

LOL! A view of someone's self-inflicted pity party maybe! The Irish, Jews, Chinese were all discriminated against, but they got over it by finding their strongest common denomenator and pushing forward, NOT circling around the lowest common denomenator and crying! Even the white man was enslaved for centurys, but managed to come out of it.

Maybe you should e-mail this over to Rev. Wright's Church for their next "kill whitey" sermon...

I don't think you can deny our country is run behind the curtain by a handful of people, can you?

For instance, we often hear about this thing called the "Patriot Movement". Not only is this an outmoded concept, it is entirely offensive and counter unifying. We all should know that at this stage in our social evolution, we as human beings cannot allow a "One World Government" to take hold, because the Religious/Corporate/Government/Banking Institutions that rule our world will only manifest even more tyranny and totalitarian dominance. This is the tendency our social systems create - the need to consolidate power, to the most extreme. As an analogy, Corporate America continues to monopolize the retail sales sector by producing powerhouse retail outlets like Walmart. Walmart is an example of how the world economic game works. It is a logical step in the unenlightened self interest of a company to do things like use cheap labor from poor countries, drop the price of each product, and build huge stores in small towns, consequently destroying the smaller shops in the town as they are unable to compete. This is essentially what the Banking Systems of the West are doing to the world. They are moving to absorb anything and everything and reduce/eliminate competition. The One World Government that the Council on Foreign Relations and numerous other despots speak of, is merely a manifestation of the corporate tendency to reduce competition and consolidate power... no different than Walmart. The United States, and the banking institutions behind it, operate completely and entirely as a Corporation. Their entire interest is in the self perpetuation of their institution. They don't

They don't care about people - They can't afford to.

Religion, Race, Class, Patriotism and all other arrogant notions of dominance and separatism is the actual problem. We must understand as human beings that our religions, races, classes, nationalities, and even fear, greed and arrogance itself are learned associations. They are no more a part of you than the clothes you have on, and you are free to take them off at anytime and discover who and what you actually are.

Well written but the superlatives could have been eliminated! This only tends to bring comments such as the one Abunai has so eloquently responded. This only tends to lend credence to his thoughts.
These problems you speak of have no boundaries. They are not limited to just minorities. The separation of races has been used by the "powers" to conceal the mis-statement of fact to the population at large.
The point is there is power in numbers. It makes no difference who makes those numbers as to race, creed, color or location. Unification of all is necessary to accomplish any change.

Unification wont happen until the "sheep" have a new Shepard.
Or at least can see past the differences in all religions and combine the similar.
The underlying truth of all religion is the same.
No one religion has a monopoly of the truth.
Pride is a perception. There is only one God.

One God? Tell that to the people of India. They worship hundreds of different ones and they are the second most populated country in the world.

Hindu realizes existence of the "infinite soul."
The many shrines and Gods worshiped constitute the God-realized, this union makes it possible for enlightenment and the path to it.
They worship to follow the path individually and come to God-realization.
Being enlightened is not about God worship, or "false idols."
It is spiritual transcendence, experienced individually.

Hmmm; and what is the significance of a woman with 6 or 8 arms or the worship of an elephant or monkeys? Please enlighten me.

Let me guess sabaii...
Hardcore Christian?

I thought judging people was against the will of GOD.
Oh sorry, thats all they do at Church.
Point Blame, and exercise Pride.

Pride is a PERCEPTION.

The blame lies with the individual, the only judgment comes from GOD. Whoever you believe.

I am not Hindu, but I will not judge a person, or look down on them based on beliefs.
Unless of course it is as ignorant a belief to totally disregard a scientific theory.
Look past the idiosyncrasy of organized religion and find the truth.

It is not the opinion of your pastor that will decide your fate in the end.
You must perfect your consciousness on your own.

If it makes them a better person, more power!

First, what are we making your countrymen buy of our? What natural resources are we taking from your country?

I can agree that the enemy is the guy in the White House and the corporate giants. Now both conservatives and liberals open the door to illegals. The burden of carrying illegals and our own poor is destroying us.

So why are you here if you hate it so much? I agree that token Latinos and Blacks who have made it, in high places have nothing in common with their poor brothers. Then the rich white Mr. Senator and President can talk to the working American, take our money, give it to you, vote themselves raises, get millions from big corporations that own their soul and have nothing in common with us either.

So, are you going home?

The poverty of philosophy is a song transcript.

Its an extreme view, but has underlying truth.

What are you gonna do when the NWO is realized?
Our perceived freedom abolished?

Religion, Race, Class, Patriotism and all other arrogant notions of dominance and separatism is the actual problem.

We need to stop being selfish, and understand In our lifespan the only thing we can do is make a better future for our children.

We need 100% cooperation from EVERYONE.
Hate, Greed, and Violence can be shed in a revolution of self.
Perfect your Consciousness.
Possession is a Perception.
There is only ONE divine presence in the whole of the universe, in all of creation. There are many names, but only one. GOD transcends time and space.
Why are we here?
To ask ourselves the ONLY question.
WHO AM I?
There is only one answer.
Don't let anyone tell you different.
Divinity lies within your heart.

this reminded me of another song.

I'm Alive
never again, will I be dishonored and never again, will I be reminded of living within the world of the jaded. They kill inspiration, it's my obligation to never again, allow this to happen. Where do I begin, the choices are endless. Denying the sin. My art, my redemption. I carry the torch of my fathers before me. The thing I treasure most in life cannot be taken away. There will never be a reason why I will surrender to your advice to change myself, I'd rather die though they would not understand. I won't make the greates sacrifice. You can't predict where the outcome lies. You'll never take me alive. I'm Alive!
