Anymore it seems, bad guys and evil people can do whatever they want and nobody can do anything about it.  If a good guy tries to stop crooks and bad guys from doing whatever they want, the good guy is the one punished.

Agents Ramos and Campean are in prison for wounding an illegal alien drug smuggler.  The two border agents in prison for doing their job.

US military personel, fighting in a war, have been prosecuted for killing the enemy.  OUTRAGEOUS!

Innocent civilians in Israel, murdered daily by bombs from Hamas, and not a word of outrage.  When Israel tries to stop the bombings, Israel is the target of the outrage.

A seven year veteran of the Atlanta Police Dept. and former US Marine, caught two guys trying to steal a SUV.  When he identified himself as police and ordered the two to stop, they tried to run him down with their SUV.  The cop shot and killed the driver and the SUV crashed into the patrol car, after hitting and seriously injuring the cop.  This cop, officer Raymond S. Bund, is being charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violation of oath.  Officer Bund was doing his job.

This kind of stuff is an outrage and needs to stop.  If people are afraid of being prosecuted for doing their job, they'll stop doing their job.  Then there will be nothing but mass caos.  Could it be, that is the intention?  Sure seems like sometimes.

There is a rage growing rapidly in this country.  I hope sanity and common sense regain control soon, before things blow.

I heard this morning, in a report about the Fed lowering interest rates, a woman saying people and companies need to start taking risks and borrowing money to get the economy moving again.  What?

With Bush pushing the government towards socialism, seizing control of the financial and auto industries.  Raising taxes on other industries, or portions there of, like non-diet soda, in an effort to control human behavior.  With the tax and spend liberals in control of both houses of congress and soon the White House.  With the President Elect promising to redistribute wealth by raising taxes on everyone making 150k plus.  With Obama promising to tax the coal and oil industries out of business.  With Rep.Maxine Waters (D. Ca.) suggesting we socialize the oil industry.  With Cap and Trade Regulations coming soon to a neighborhood near you.  Knowing all of this is going to raise prices to where nobody will be able to afford to buy anything anyway, why would any sane capitalist person want to borrow money and take risks?  It appears to me if a person did expand an existing business or start a new one, the government would either seize your profits or regulate you out of business.

Do you suppose this may have something to do with companies moving out of the country?

I really don't expect the economy to improve much, if any, until the left leaves.  Hopefully we will be able to reverse the damage done.

Employment is essential to our economy.  The faster jobs can be created, the faster the unemployed can get back to work.  McCain's tax plan will create twice as many jobs as Obama's tax plan, according to the Heritage Foundation Center for Data Analysis.

The study compared the effect the two tax plans would have, state by state, over a ten year period. (2009-2018)  The bottom line, McCain's plan will create 2,125,858, jobs compared to 915,812, under Obama's plan.  A difference of 1,210,046, jobs.

McCains's plan lowers tax rates on businesses and allows them to deduct the cost of new equipment and technology in the first year.  Both of these plans reduce business expenses, providing more money for investment, job creation and research and developement.

Obama's plan relies on tax credits in order to redistribute income.  These tax credits will boost consumption which will create some demand for new jobs.  The tax credits will not boost business investment, which influences job creation in other sectors of the economy.  That means the trickle down effect of the McCain plan would not take place under the Obama plan.

Let us get this recession over as fast as possible.  Vote: McCain/Palin.

Any government that is fearful of it's citizens owning guns, should be.  Obama and his socialist friends know that this country will not stand for a conversion from capitalism to socialism without a fight.   Obama is anti gun and will do everything he can to take your guns away.

Obama opposes right to carry laws:  (Chicago Tribune 9-15-04, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review 4-2-08)   A quote from the Chicago Tribune 4-27-04,  "I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry."

Obama is anti-self defense.  He voted to allow prosecution of people who use a gun for self defense inside their homes.  Illinois Senate, SB 2165, 3-25-04

Obama voted to, ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting and allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the gun industry. US Senate, S.397, 7-29-05

Obama voted to limit gun purchases.  Illinois Senate, HB 2579, 5-16-03

He wants to increase the tax on guns and ammo by 500%.  He will reimpose the failed and discredited Clinton gun ban.  He wants to ban all handguns.  He want guns registered and all gun owners licensed.

The United Nations has been trying for years to get the USA to sign on to a world wide ban on guns except for military and police.  If Obama is elected he will agree to the UN's ban.

You dems that want to keep the right to keep and bare arms and who like to hunt better think twice before you vote for Obama.

When crude oil was heading up to $140.00, a barrel, everyone was blaming it on corporate and speculator greed.  Now that it is heading towards $60.00, per barrel, why aren't the corporations and speculators being praised for their generosity?  Hmmmm?

The reality is, the economic law of supply and demand is what determines the price of a commodity, whether the price is rising or falling.  Those, mostly on the left, who don't like capitalism or corporations, the life blood of the American economy, seized the oportunity to blame corporations and speculators for rising gasoline prices and called for more government regulations and involvement.  The sheeple echoed that call.  Government moratorium and regulations were and are a big part of the problem so let us not ask for more regulations.

If Obama is elected, you can bet you will see $10.00, to $15.00 per gallon gasoline and it won't be because of greedy corporations or speculators.  It will be because the government is again getting in the way.

A little more than a year ago, the dow hit a record high, over 14000, gas was around 2.20/gal., unemployment was 4.5%, consumer confidence was at a 2 1/2 yr. high.  Americans were traveling, taking cruises, etc.

In 2006, voters decided they wanted change so they elected a democrat Congress and we sure got change.  Consumer confidence plummeted, gasoline prices sky rocketed, unemployment is nearing 6%, home equity has dropped by 12 trillion dollars,  home foreclosures are on the increase and the dow is probing another low.  2.5 trillion dollars have evaporated from investment portfolios.

Bush is getting the blame but remember he has no direct control over any of these issues, only Congress does.  Up until this wrong headed bailout bill, Congress has done nothing since 2006.  Thank you liberals.

Now Obama wants to really give it to us with the democrat Congress.  NO THANKS!  We can't stand anymore of this kind of change.

This bail out of failing lending institutions has now grown from 3 pages to 451 pages.  Three quarters of which have nothing to do with stablizing the lending institutions.  There are some tax increases on crude oil.  There are incentives for new energy.  The commitees that Barney Frank and Chris Dodd chair are going to be part of the oversight.  These two idiots helped create this problem in the first place.  In fact they should be forced to resign to a prison cell, as well as a few others.

If we, as free Americans wish to remain free, we cannot allow a government take over of private industry.  We cannot allow them to become our landlords.  We must hold them strictly to the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.  We need less government not more.  Especially not 700 billion more or raising our debt to over 11 trillion.

When this bill that the Senate passed gets to the house, mark my words, it will get loaded up with more pork.  We cannot continue to allow them to do this to us.  It needs to stop now.    Obama is for this bill because it is a step in the direction he wants to take this country, toward socialism.  McCain, though I do believe means well, either doesn't have the brains or the gonads to submit a better alternative.  There are free market solutions that will do the job.  Eliminating the capital gains tax would be a good place to start.

The fathers of this great nation risked their entire accumilated wealth to shed themselves of tyranny and become free men.  It will be a shame to throw it all away because we allowed a band of socialists to scare us into accepting their way when there are always alternatives.  I urge you to write, call, fax, or email your congressmen.

I will start by saying volunteer service is a great and honorable thing that Americans do and have done throughout our history.   We don't suddenly need government bureaucracies to enable us to do that.

I think last nights Forum was a joke and a bore.  Even Brit Hume and the panel scrounged to find something to talk about.

I think it was an exercise preparing the American People for the CHANGE, from capitalism to socialism, that is comming to a neighborhood near you.

Below is the Conservative Agenda for America's Future.  Now if we can get the left leaning McCain to adopt and follow it, assuming he is elected, we will be in pretty good shape.  I have two issues with the agenda though.  1) On free trade I think we should include "Balanced trade" and work to reduce the trade deficit.  2) I would like to see a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution and a plan to pay down the debt.

THE ECONOMY

Reduce taxes, abolish the alternative minimum tax and simplify the tax code

Lower government spending, reduce the regulatory burden, and end the practice of earmarks

     Reform entitlements

Expand free trade opportunities including agreements with trading partners like Taiwan

No more unfunded mandates on states and other levels of government

PEACE AND SECURITY

Reform and equip our military to meet both the challenges of today and the future

Maintain a strong defense able to protect our interests in a dangerous and ever changing world

Provide tighter border security and provide harsher penalties for those illegally entering the United States

Make a long-term investment in our military personnel, giving them the best equipment and training before sending them into harms way and caring for their families while they are deployed

Make the best possible facilities and treatment available for the wounded upon their return from deployment

Always remember that this nation's foreign and military policies must be based on our just national security and economic interests

ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

Drill responsibly in ANWR, off our coastline and on public lands in the intermountain west, develop oil shale, and reduce our dependence on foreigh oil and worldwide demand

Encourage the construction of new refineries and nuclear plants within the United States

Oppose new taxes on development, production, and consumption

Speed up the research into new sources of energy like solar and wind

Encourage energy conservation measures that have no negative impact on the economy

Develop a written strategic long term energy security policy

EDUCATION

Reaffirm our national commitment to public education with control at the local level

Encourage educational innovation to improve traditional public schools while providing educational choice to those parents seeking to send their children to private schools and public charter schools while continuing to allow parents to home school their children without fear of government harassment

Set standards and performance requirements and reward successful teachers and administrators

Keep politics out of the classroom

Return the control of our educational system to parents and teachers not union leaders and bureaucrats

FEDERAL JUDGES

Judicial nominees should be committed to interpreting rather than making law from the bench and have a record of commitment to making decisions based on the law and the U.S. Constitution

THE FAMILY

     Promote the intact, traditional family

     Abolish the marriage penalty tax

     Respect the sanctity of life

     Promote home ownership

Marriage should be recognized as an institution worth preserving, should be restricted to recognizing the union of a man and woman.

HEALTH CARE

Health care reformers should pledge as physicians must to "do no harm"

Health care reform should be focused on giving patients consultation with their doctors for greater choice and control

Third party control of health care by insurance companies, employers, and government has led to higher cost and lower quality

Americans should be able to purchase health care that transcends state lines, people should be able to buy health insurance in an interstate market; plans licensed in one state should be available for purchase in other states to increase competition and bring down cost

Reforms designed to improve the availablilty and lower the cost of health care to Americans should be desiged to increase individual choice and power, reduce the regulatory burded on providers and avoid the bureaucracy envisioned by liberal health care schemes

Responsible reform should include a major focus on preventative care

Small businesses should be allowed and indeed encouraged to join together to purchase health care

Investment in research for cures and prevention of disease should be encouraged rather than punished

INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Base all U.S. policy first on a commitment to protect the sovereignty, rights, and interests of the United States and its citizens in a dangerous and ever changing world

     Demand meaningful United Nations reform

Work to encourage changes in the policies of those nations seeking to do us and our friends harm while isolating those nations who implacabley oppose and threaten our just interests

Support our friends around the world including Taiwan and Israel as we work to minimize threats to their very existence

Encourage others to emulate the United States' lead on religious tolerance

AMERICANS AND THEIR GOVERNMENT

The federal government should be smaller and less intrusive, but it should work

     It should not penalize success

It should not pick winners and losers among businesses and industries

     Promote entrepreneurship

It should protect not threaten its citizens

Carrying and possessing guns on national park land has been banned since 1966.  That is about to change.  Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) and 51 other US Senators  asked the Sec. of Interior to change their policies regarding weapons by adopting each state's own firearms law as the default rule in national parks.  This will bring the weapons policies in accordance with the USFS and BLM.    On April 30, 2008, the National Park Service issued proposed rules to mirror State laws on guns in parks.

Oaklahoma is trying to reclaim sovereignty via the tenth Amendment to the Constitution, which says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Oklahoma State Rep. Charles Key introduced House Joint Resolution 1089 to the State Legislature.  It passed the house, 92 to 3.  The state Senate ajourned before it was voted on there so Key will reintroduce it when the legislature reconvenes.

Basically what the bill says is,  the power of the federal government is restricted to that defined by the Constitution and no more.  That the scope of power defined in the Tenth Amendment means the federal  government was created by the States specifically as an agent of the States; and that today in 2008, the federal government treats the States as agents of the federal government.

From the bill,  " The State of Oklahoma hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.  That this serve as Notice and Demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers."

I say it's time and I hope all of the other States will follow Oklahoma's lead.  The federal  usurpation of the Constitution needs to stop.  What the federal government does today is nowhere close to what the framers intended.  James Madison, father of the Constitution, wanted the powers delegated to the federal government to be few and well defined.  At the least, this is a step in the right direction.

We shot down "Immigration Reform Act" and "Dream Act", now it is time to shoot down another one.   The "New Employee Verification Act" or NEVA, (HR 5515).  This bill is being pushed by both sides of the aisle to replace the current E-Verify system.

Section 101(b)(2)(A), of this bill, prempts and bans any and all state and local laws regarding immigration control.  Laws enacted to,  impose employer sanctions and fines, to prevent, the receipt of taxpayer funded services, enrollment in schools, obtaining business or other licenses,  housing, etc., with regard to illegal aliens, would be thrown out the window.

This bill only applies to those applying for jobs after the bill is enacted and has no re-verify provision.  The tens of millions already here illegally and working would be home free unless they apply for a new job.

The bill requires the employer to actually hire the employee before he checks with the NEVA system.  The bill also provides for private entities to set up a verification system which could be used in lieu of the federal system.  Entities like La Raza, ACLU, the LA gangs, will love this part.

The bill is currently refered to Ways and Means.  Let your Rep.s know what you think of them, often.  Let them know what you think of this bill as it is written.  Maybe we should just go to Washington and slap some sense into these bastards.

VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS.                        VOTE NO ON SOCIALISM.

For the last few years the UN has been trying to get the US to agree to a world wide gun ban for individuals.  They want only governments, army, police, etc., to possess guns.  The liberals in this country want guns banned in this country also.  Below are some examples of what happens when guns are taken away from the citizens of a country.

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control.  From 1929 to 1953, 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, exterminated.

1938, Germany established gun control. From1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews exterminated.

1935, China established gun control.  From 1948 to 1952, 20 million dissidents exterminated.

1970, Uganda established gun control.  From1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians exterminated.

1956, Cambodia established gun control.  From1975 to 1977, 1 million exterminated.

Last year Australia forced gun owners to give up their guns.  Australia wide homicides are up 3.2%, assaults are up 8.6% and armed robberies are up 44 percent.  In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are up 300%.  Sounds to me like the criminals didn't give up their guns.  Go figure!!  Gun control adversely affects law abiding citizens.

With guns, we are citizens.  Without guns, we are subjects.  During WWII, the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were armed.

Find out where your candidate is on this issue and keep the above in mind when you go to the poles in November.

When the people of Az. voted to stop paying taxpayer funded benefits to illegal aliens, John McCain said that was ill advised and the wrong thing to do.   When he and Kennedy joined together with the Amnest Bill, I wrote him saying that was the last straw, that I would never vote for him again, for anylthing, including dog catcher.

McCain has consistantly voted against the wishes of his constituents, sticking his thumb in our eye.  Now, he needs us and wants our support.  I say take the thumb out of your eye and put it in his eye.  The Republicans and some Conservatives say we need to get behind McCain for the good of the party.  I say BULL!!!!  If this is the best the party can do, we don't need them.  They have had control of Congress and the White House for years and had the opportunity to do some really good things for this country.  Being the spineless cowards that they are, they did nothing for fear of offending the socialists.

Now, stop and think a minute.  Let's say McCain is elected President.  We will have four years of socialism because McCain will ignore the Republican minority.  Because he is a Republican President, the republicans will get blamed for the disaster that occurs.  Because of this, we will be subjected to another 20 or 30 years of democrat rule.

If a democrat is elected President, the democrats will be blamed for the disaster that is going to occur.  We will see a new Conservative revival, as in 1980 and 1994, and retake control.  Hopefully, this time we won't squander the opportunity.

I will not vote for McCain.  I will not vote for Hillary or Obama.  None of these candidates are qualified to be President of the United States of America and leader of the free world.

Some will say, what about judges and Supreme Court Justices that surely will need to be nominated.  There is no guarantee that McCain will nominate a conservative.  He, afterall was against Allito, as he was too conservative.

Based on John McCain's voting history, he cannot convince me that he is a conservative.  Neither can he convince me he has changed and will be conservative in the future.  Voting for John McCain is the same as sticking your own thumb in your own eye.

I think the reason why we don't elect Senators and Representatives to the Presidency is because they are corrupted by the system.  John F. Kennedy was the last Senator that was elected President and that was 47 years ago.

I think when a person is elected to Congress for the first time, they go to Washington DC with an honest intention of making a difference and changing business as usual.  Shortly after arriving there they're sucked into the cesspool of bribery and cronyism and soon forget their promises to those who sent them there.  They get consumed by power and the building of their private little dynasty.  They get arrogant and unreceptive to their constituents.  They actually are living in their own little world and lose touch with reality.  They become the problem rather than a solution.

This election season, CHANGE, is the buzz word.  People are tired of business as usual yet here we are trying to elect a Senator to the Presidency.  I don't care what they say, because we know politicians lie, I guarantee if we elect any of these Senators to the Presidency, it will be business as usual and probably worse than it is now.

We have three Senators, one Representative and two Governors left running for the top office.  I suggest a governor has more and better experience at running government from the top and therefore is more qualified to be the President and leader of the free world.
