Douglas Bruce used correct terminology to describe the subject of a bill and is now facing retribution.

Personally, I believe he spoke the truth. As a bonus, he does not believe resolutions are worth the ink and effort, regardless of the cause espoused by the resolution.

If you ever watch CSPAN (um, bring Tums), you will notice an inordinate amount of time spent by Congress (re-)naming Post Offices, declaring solidarity with the armed forces, or debating "Medal of Freedom" awards to people of questionable ethics.

Never mind that "people of questionable ethics" is a term that can be applied equally among all members of Congress...
