GRAYWOLF's Brain Farts

by GRAYWOLF from Lala Land

Last Post 54 days, 12 hours Ago

Well, it seems we have another (or more likely, renamed) coward participating on these blogs...He is going around his blogs deleting comments he is not intelligent enough refute (out of embarrassment I suppose)  and then responding to pieces of the deleted comment that he mistakenly thinks he can refute.

KZPS is playing a better and wider selection of classic rock than they ever did as "the classic rock station". Obviously, this would make them a better CR station than before.

It is too bad we have cowards on here that are so weak mentally they feel the need to delete comments, just because they are incapable of letting anyone prove them wrong or let others have the freedom to make up their own mind.

I am trying to like KZPS - I really am. I think more CR will come in as the "country haters" voice their dislikes.

I just switch to Jack if it is a song I really don't like. But - I will admit- I have heard more rock on there the past few days than when it first converted, so that is good.

As far as the "coward" - have no idea who or what is going on - but seems like same ole same ole is going on. KZPS may change - but the blogs won't.

The mix is a lot heavier toward rock now that the DJs are back in the studio. They also seem to be playing a lot less of the Waylon/Willie type of stuff and staying more with the current Texas music.

Regarding the other part of my blog, there is a "new" idiot among us that likes to delete comments for the fun of it, like a former blogger that used the prefix for "without".

This one doesn't play as illiterate as the former. (I never thought he was as illiterate has he played on here.)

KZPS is still a damn good station to listen to. If you don't like the music they play, there's always other stations to listen to.

KZPS is still a darn good station to listen to and "if" you don't like what they play, you can always switch to something else.

I like The Bone. There is not a single country song on there. If I want country, I'll go to The Ranch. As it is, the majority of my time is spent on Sirius.

strange occurences ....how is it that BR549 has the same avatar as graywolf.....thats bizarre ....i'm adjusting to the new format at 92.5....i love the no commercial thing....and i have heard a better variety of the old rock stuff than what they were playing before...

He acts like he is about 10 years old.

That is what I am trying to get the people, that refuse to listen just out of spite, to understand.

it also seems a little ironic that BR549 hates country so much....but unless i'm mistaken...the term BR549 originated on Hee Haw as a ficticious radio stations call number....and isn't BR549 also the name of a country band????.....i may be wrong on this.....but it seems like i remember it....not that i was ever a Hee Haw fan, but back in the day our family only had one tv and my dad controlled what everyone watched.....

BR5-49 was Junior Samples' phone # for whatever skit it was (I have no idea where I just pulled that name from!!) That and the gorgeous women in the corn field are the only things I remember about that show.

The band just recently (last few years) removed the - from their name. So they are now BR549...for whatever reason.

How is it possible for them to play 2-3+ rock songs for every 1-2 "country" songs and it come out that they play more country than rock?

Well, that was a surprise...It wasn't "country", classic rock or southern rock...that was straight up oldies rock! I just heard Pipeline By Dick Dale!

I've had Sirius and switched to XM...I don't miss Sirius.

Sirius has better rock stations, but XM has XCountry which plays the other stuff KZPS is now playing. It is so much better than outlaw Country on Sirius.

If I want country, I listen to (and stream) the Range. If I want rock, I listen to CD's. That's all that's left with the corporate DFW market the way it is now.

Tat,
Have you listened to the new KZPS? They are mixing the Range and the classic rock KZPS rarely played before. Primarily southern rock instead of The Who, Zep, etc.

I like to play devil's advocate. You will often find me using Socratic irony, just for fun. Comments to posts aren't necessarily my position on a subject. I like to try to make people think of the other side of the issue. Don't read anything into my statements. If I didn't state it, I probably didn't mean it that way!
