ALERTS - - - BREAKING NEWS

VERDICT REACHED IN CASE  AGAINST PASTOR OSTEEN'S  WIFE   by Juan A.Lozano

Just another tease as they like to give on Fox26 News on T.V.

I scrolled and scrolled down the page for some bore of journalism which was "OLD NEWS" we were told  a week ago.

WHERE is the VERDICT??? -  NOOOOOOONE

I had to turn on the T.V. and go to the real news CNN which told me the update on the verdict.

Juan A. Lozano - Where was the verdict????

Who really cared about the whole thing anyway? I'm just glad it's over so they can start covering real news again.

That's because the verdict wasn't announced yet, but the verdict was reached.

Who cares? A money hungry flight attendant's plan for a money train was derailed by a beautiful deity diva with a nasty temper. Pity.

awatkins
Unlike some arrogant bloggers who can't agree to disagree, I never delete a comment, I prefer to leave it as blogs should be open for all to criticize.
My contentions are not always perfect, the appears to be 6 replies but never favorable as usual which is part of the blogging game.
I may clean up any double entries of which I am sometimes guilty for double clicking.

As for the other comment I can only ask what was the purpose of the title if the verdict had not been reached although other blogs were showing the results.

Someone deleted all the comments on here.

As I said before, just because a verdict has been reached doesn't mean the jury has actually announced it. Either way, we keep our website updated to the minute... so a verdict having been reached would be an appropriate headline even if we don't know what the decision is yet.

fyinfo,
thanks for responding to my comment but where is it? it seems you accidentally hit the delete button on me.
anyway... just so you know, i checked with our web administrator about your complaint. he explains that you happened to check our web site when we had just learned that there was a verdict, but that verdict had not been announced yet. on these big trials the judge will spread the word that the jury has reached a verdict and give the interested parties, media included, fair warning so everyone can assemble. sometimes it's 15 minutes... sometimes it's an hour. we publicize there is a verdict even before we know it, because some people are following it that closely. they will stick around with us until we find out what that verdict is. i hope that helps you understand.

i don't know what's going on. i sent a second comment to you in response to the one above. did you ever see it? if the comments are disappearing and you're not deleting them you should contact our administrator and/or doug deloney.

my response to your blog is this. sometimes, in fact most of the time with major court cases, jurors announce they have a verdict, and then the judge sets a certain time for the verdict to be read. this allows all parties time to assemble in the courtroom. sometimes it's 15 or 20 minutes.. sometimes he or she makes it 45 minutes or an hour. you happened to be reading this article right in that in-between time. we think it's news, on closely watched cases, to tell people the jury's reached a verdict even when we don't know what the verdict is. interested parties will hang with us because they know we'll rush it to the web site the minute we know. i hope this explains things.

murphy and all concerned.
I have not deleted any comments.
It is not my practice because I care not and believe all comments have value.
I have done a virus check and all is clear.
I kind of think our blogs could be compromised. (goblins perhaps)
I'll contact the web master as suggested.
To date it shows 13 comments and I see them all.
