Remember Sherman Pore, the older gentleman who tried out for "Idol" at the very beginning of the season? He didn't exactly try out, but he did sing a song in honor of his wife who passed away from cancer. Well he's back. And he's releasing an album at the end of this month, with proceeds going to cancer research.

But here are some tidbits that happened behind the scenes that you may have missed. For instance, guess which former contestant Antonella Barba blew a kiss to while she was sitting in the audience?

The Kiss on '24'

What did you think of last week's kiss on "24"? For those of you who are only kind of keeping up this season, we're not talking about one between Jack and Audrey. We're talking about the one between Vice President Noah Daniels and his aide. Creepy?
On another note, the actor who plays Daniels, Powers Boothe, defends a lot of the decisions his character is making in the wake of the crises.
"You had a nuke go off in [California]," Boothe said, "and people are
sitting around wringing their hands. He feels like he has to do
something."

"24" co-executive producer Manny Coto recently had a chat with TVWeek.com about the show as it enters its final four episodes. Some twists and turns are in store. As fans learned on Monday, Chloe acted very, well, un-Chloe-like.
"Every year, Chloe's always the one who's secretly working with Jack; and Jack goes to her, and she's usually the one underneath her boss's gaze to help Jack achieve whatever he wanted to achieve," Mr. Coto said. "We're always trying to find something surprising that we haven't done before."

According to some reports, LaKisha Jones actually received fewer votes than Sanjaya and was supposed to go home.
"According to GirlsTalkinSmack, there is a "very reliable source" in the internet world who posts vote totals for American Idol and other shows, and he has proven himself to be right about 98% of the time. The week that Sanjaya was sent home, the source posted the vote totals he believes to be correct...and you're not going to believe the line-up."

'Bones' Pulls Episode

In light of the tragedy at Virginia Tech, "Bones" pulled this week's episode and decided to show a rerun. The episode involved human remains found on a college campus. Sounds harmless enough, but because it takes place on a college campus, that seemed enough for executives drop the axe.

The "24" fans out there never cease to amaze. Always inventing new games and new ways of analyzing the show. As if the Jack Bauer drinking game wasn't enough, here's one we just uncovered -- the "'24' Character Countdown."
Here's the way it works: At the beginning of the season, each character on the show is assigned 100 points. Based on his or her merits and blunders, blogger Aaron gives or takes away points. An interesting analysis, indeed.

Did you watch the premiere of "Drive" on Sunday? What did you think? Positive reviews are coming in....
"The
characters have so many angles and depth in this show. Just when you
think you have them figured out, BAM! You can't believe what you're
seeing. I quickly learned this show is not just about some dumb race.
There is a lot at stake here, and it seems everyone's life, or the life
of someone they know, depends on them winning it!"

Last season's "Idol" finalist Paris Bennett is lashing out against the show and is actually supporting VotefortheWorst.com.
"We want to see him [Sanjaya] win because it'll kind of prove that
'American Idol' is kind of losing its taste," says Bennett, "it kinda
isn't going for talent anymore and more for popularity."
