If you could go back in time and change three events in your life, what would they be?

OOOO...this is a tuff one...AAAAA...AAAAA
1. I would have joined a Band when I was allot younger...say my teen years.

2. I wouldn't had allowed my husband to take that job offer and we would have stayed in the Mountains.

3. I wouldn't have drank as much as I did when I was 23...allot of things happened that drove me to it but thatis still no excuse!

Great question.

1) Went to college right after high school. It stinks when your older.

2) Played the lotto when my numbers came up for the 36 million dollars. I still sulk about that.

3) Went running instead of playing Football the day my knee was so severely damaged it ended my military career and changed my life forever.

1) I would buy Hassel Island in St Thomas Harbor when It was only 250,000.00 bucks

2) I would make sure that the bilge pumps were working on my first boat before I went to work the day she sank at anchor.

3) Never done that first line of Blow that got me addicted to the damn stuff in the first place.
On a side note about the blow Thank God I had enough sense to get off of it before it killed me and have not touched that crap in 20 years.

Great topic by the way!

1. Wouldn't have taken my mom's car when I was 13 years old. Thought it was cool til I got pulled over but it turned out to be ok.

2. Would have tried to be more motivated in college.

3. Wouldn't have made the stupid mistake I made at my old job but I have a great job now.

1) WOuld not have wasted time or money on college

2)Wouldn't have gone out with half the girls I went out with

3)Would've bought a house as soon as I moved to Florida instead of renting an apartment for 2 years

Nothing. From the point where I made the changes, I would be different; the world would be different. I wouldn't have my two daughters, I wouldn't have been successful in the same two careers (if successful in ANY career at all).

You can't change "three things" .... it's a chain. You alter one, two, or three links, you've altered the entire chain.

I'm with you sarge. My life has had it's ups and downs but I am very married (again) this time for 30 years, have two great kids (which I won full custody of when they were very young) and 5 of the greatest grandchillens anyone could ask for. I've worked long and hard and am now enjoying retirement.

Even though I've not made the best choices in life, I wouldn't want to change any of them. I do wish in 2004, I could have been on the road a minute earlier of a minute later, but not at the second when the kid decided to purposely run a stop sign doing 65 in a 45, without his headlights on. Thank God the road was wet.
