FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist Cecilia Sinclair wants everyone to know how much she appreciates all of the inquiries about her. She wants all of her FOX 26 viewers to know that she is on a leave of absence.

For the 75th year, sounds of the rodeo and some of the music industry's star performers will be routine for the next three weeks as the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo takes over Reliant Park.

If you grew up in Houston, you are bound to have visited the rodeo at least one time. Many initially show up for food, fun and entertainment but end up walking away with memories that last a lifetime.

Did you participate in one of the Livestock Show & Rodeo's unique contests or encounter something interesting while volunteering? Maybe you met your spouse there? Or your child got sick on one of the carnival's rides? There's bound to be some interesting stories.

A new claim that the bones of Jesus Christ have been discovered has some Christians upset. James Cameron, the director of the "The Lost Tomb of Christ" says ten ancient caskets, discovered outside Jerusalem in 1980, offer the first archaeological evidence of the existence of Jesus. The tombs apparently name Jesus, Mary, Joseph...and a son of Jesus. Some Christians say the very basis of the documentary contradicts a Christian cornerstone, the resurrection.

A cafeteria worker at Pugh Elementary was washing dishes on Ash Wednesday when a stain on a cookie show slowly revealed itself. The worker thought it looked like a saint … other workers thought it was the Virgin Mary.

 

The school's PTA moved the tray to a parent's home down the street. The parent placed the cookie sheet on a table in her front yard, and ever since dozens of people from near and far have come by to look at it and pray.
