Check out my webcam roadtrip from I-70 in Kansas!!

OK...I'm sure you read the title of this blog and thought...SHE'S NUTS! Nah...not really....LOL! Hubby and I are on our way to Colorado for the week. We're clipping our way down I-70 through Kansas and I started getting bored. I pulled out the laptop and plugged in the Sprint Wireless Internet card and BAM...I'm surfin the net!

Now before you all start freaking out and call the state patrol or something...the hubby is driving, not me...LOL!

So I connected to the web, logged into my Yahoo messenger and there were my girls...Jana and Katie! We got to chattin...and I plugged in the webcam so they could see what I was seeing even! Too COOL!!!

So right now hubby and I are sitting at Sonic getting ready to each lunch. I'm typing this while we wait for our food. Jana's changing her laundry out while the food is cooking and Katie took a break from the PC for now. We'll hop back on the highway and I'll keep right on chatting until it's my turn to drive again.

But before I go...I gotta give props to Sprint for this amazing internet card that works off of the cell phone towers instead of cable or dsl...good job Sprint! This road trip is soooooo NOT boring, that's for sure!!!

Ok I have to say I got a little car sick with the webcam, but seeing the cows were so worth it! Well, I'm still waiting for my order from Sonic! I saw you drinking my shake!
I started a new load of laundry, snapped by seatbelt, and ready to hit the road!!

Now i want a laptop even more. Nik does most of the driving when we go out of town and I could take my webcam and show you all of the crazy stuff I see when I am driving. Have a safe trip girl.

well, we are in Colby Kansas right now...still on I-70, which we'll follow almost all the way to Colorado Springs, CO. A couple ppl have checked the webcam to see what's up. Frankly it's alot of flat Kansas land...if you've been here you know what I'm talkin about...LOL!
The hubby thought he might have been stationed here at Ft. Riley and I said NO WAY...you're gonna have to go alone then. Luckily that didn't have to happen.
But we've got a couple more hours to drive, so if you're bored and want to see what I'm seeing...check out my webcam on Yahoo messenger and join in on my roadtrip!

Okay everyone...we just passed into the grand state of Colorado...woot woot!!!
It's looking like it might rain...only 55 degrees outside...quite a difference from good ol' SLT when we left. It's still looking like a couple more hours till we get to Colorado Springs. If you're around, check out the webcam...you might get to see some mountains!!

connie...I won a trip to NYC to meet her...I won it right here on the myfoxstl website! It was fantastic! I went with Randi Naughton for three days.

Katie...glad you're having a good time girl...LOL. My butt hurts from sitting so long. And YES I did mean STL...sorry for the typo...I'll blame it on the bumps in the road...LOL!

For those without a Yahoo messenger...I'm trying to broadcast LIVE on the web. If I can get it working then I'll broadcast my return trip in a few days so you can all see. Wish me luck on that part.

Hello everyone! I am sitting in my lodging room on Peterson AFB in Colorado Spring, CO. I don't have the webcam going right now as there's not a whole lot to see here in my room. While I'm here I plan to work on getting the feed up on the web so that while we're here in town I might be able to show you around...maybe see the Rockies even! And of course I'll try to broadcast on my ride back home.

For those of you who spent the day virtually traveling with me...THANK YOU...I loved having your company! If you couldn't make it, I'll post when we'll be hitting the road again so that maybe you can come check it out.

In the meantime...check back in case I can get something going for ya while I'm here!

It's just me...Erin G. I'm married with 4 kids and two cats. My hubby and I just moved to Colorado Springs, CO. The Army said go, so it was bye-bye Scott AFB, hello Ft. Carson. Oh but it was hard to leave! In the 3 years we were in Illinois/St Louis Metro area I met so many wonderful people, got to meet Rachael Ray with Randi Naughton from Fox, became a Bloggette (WOOT WOOT!), met so many others from Fox 2 and the blogs and forged everlasting friendships (girls, ya know who you are!), and last but not least, became an STLMom. So it is without hesitation that I can and will say that I truly loved my time in the St Louis metro and I will certainly miss each and every one of you who have been a part of my life the last three years! Just remember...it's never goodbye...just see ya lata! So until we meet again...BLOG ON my friends! Peace, Love and Hugz!
