I've been pouring over the travel records of Governor Rod Blagojevich's trips on the state owned airplane between Chicago and Springfield..I've calculated he's taken 101 flights on the plane that costs you $5,800 a trip.

That's part of the trouble with a commuter governor who insists on living in Chicago year round as opposed to staying in Springfield when the Legislature's in session..No wonder there's always budget gridlock, which hurts Illinois taxpayers in the end..

A state audit questioned the the way the state runs it's flight service..You won't like what it says..

Stay tuned to You Paid For It.

Elliott thanks for taking on this issue. I just do not see how anyone is going to beat Chicago politics. We in Illinois have been paying such high real estate taxes and the tax on our gas is higher than Missouri's. I drive to MO to buy my gas - and I still am saving money by driving the extra 10 miles.
Keep up the good work and good luck.

Hey Elliott, maybe you can 'ambush' goy-boy so he doesn't have a chance to run away from you and take cover behind his guards.

$5800 for Springfield to Chicago? You can fly round trip from St. Louis to Hawaii, on most airlines, for less than that!

Put him in jail with the former gov. He is untouchable being part of the Chicago machine. He and Obama are friends, and two of a kind. Wake up people!

maybe the could stay home for one day & send me the $5800. i could really use it to catch up on some bills since the cost of everything is up. that would also be one less chance for him to raise taxes. Rod Blagojavich is a DISGRACE.

The residents of this state that voted for him a 2nd time are part to blame. He has been doing this for a while now. Nothing new. I for one did not vote for him at all. Probably some of the people here complaining voted for him. Next time think before voting party lines.

like any politician they promise the world and then deliver nothing, I myself didn't vote for him either time, but I'm still getting srcewed just like everyone else. doesn't matter if you voted for him or not, he said whatever he needed to to get into office, and aftr he got in the gloves came off.
