So I get a call from family members who live in South-Central Florida.. they tell me their neighbors are getting together.. playing games.. cards.. dominos.. eating since the Tropical Storm Fay has kept many people home today.  I guess they're called "Hurricane Parties"..

Wow.. never heard of this.

What do you and your family like to do when the stroms keep you at home?

So I went to see the movie... I gotta tell ya.. it was pretty darn good.  No joke.  I'm not a crazy Sex & the City fan either.. I only started watching the re-runs in the last few years.

I thought the movie was very well produced, fast paced and funny -- just my opinion..

I want to know what YOU think???

OK.. so here it is.. more families are staying closer to home this Memorial Day weekend because of the darn high gas prices.

Doesn't this just erk you?? 

At the very LEAST (and I say this lightly) we are in Central Florida.. we've got beaches, theme parks to entertain us.

Personally, I simply just like a good cook-out with the hubby and my dog.

Sniffing Out Crime? Thursday, November 02, 2006     Dogs have nothing over Bartholomew County, Indiana Sheriff's Deputy Jimmy Green.   Green was investigating the robbery of a local pizza delivery person when he decided to follow his nose - right to the criminals.

The robbery occurred when a man placed a pizza delivery order and then robbed the delivery person when she arrived at the bogus address given with the order.   Police combed the area seeking eye witnesses to the crime.   They went door to door asking neighbors if they had seen or heard anything.   Nobody had but a keen sense of smell provided a clue.

Deputy Green went up to one neighbor's house and noticed the scent of pepperoni and sausage pizza.   Upon further inspection he saw yellow pages open to the pizza delivery section.   Officers followed Green's nose and found a couple pies as well as the cash stolen in the robbery!

The moral of this true crime saga is, if you want to rob a pizza delivery person, don't arrange for a delivery in your own neighborhood.   But, if you do, at least have the intelligence to go out for Chinese afterwards.

Wow,, I've been in Central Florida for 2 years and I just found out about this.. it sounds great.  Especially with alligator season right around the corner.  Sounds like fun.

Black Hammock Adventures has free live alligator and bird exhibits. Trainers feed the 12-foot (3.6-meter), 650-pound (295-kilogram) resident gator Hammy on Sunday afternoons. At the restaurant, you can listen to free live music every Friday and Saturday night.

So Britney is hospitalized again.  This time her father has been ordered by the court to take control of her estate.  The girl obviously needs help. Doctors believe she is a danger to kids and herself. 

So.. do you feel bad for her?  Could care less?  Would you rather not hear about her on the news?  Tell us how you really feel??

WHAT??  I was at the grocery store and saw the tabloid headlines:  Britney Pregnant Again.

I must admit this one caught my attention.  I usually breeze passed all the tabloid junk but with all that this poor girl has been through.. this one shocked me -- if it turns out to be true that is.

Ya ready.  Can't believe it.  I'm not big on decorating but I love to cook.  Anyone have halloween/harvest/fall receipes that are tasty??

OK.. so do like hearing about Lohan's life, how 'bout Britney or Paris Hilton.

Lohan again -- making entertainment news about a new movie.  It's a movie about the Playboy empire -- not that's she's staring in a playboy flick.

ok.. how many people really care about these celbs and their lives???

Britney looses custody of her kids until further notice.  Apparently, a judge got fed up after witnesses say she was seen driving around with her 2 kids this weekend with a suspended license.

Do you think she's being  made an example of?

American Idol judges say they think they can help Britney Spears revive her career!  They aren't saying whether they will use her as a judge, or contestant or what?
