STORMS -Why don't people get READY?

With an already active hurricane season, ironically, Ive heard from so many different people who aren't ready for a potential disaster.

I don't get it.. Why?

I asked one family this week.. they said.. they just didn't have the extra money to spend on batteries, candles, can foods.

How ready are you seriously?  And if not.. why not get ready?

Because they live in denial and think they will have time when the time comes.
