Lobbyist/Political Partnership -- Douglas ChickWith all the people I would like to blame for the economy and the ever diminishing dollar, I think the American economic demolition awards should go to the Washington Lobbyist. It is their success in persuading a weak Congress, Senate and White house to pass laws that took away from America and gave greedily to the corporations they represent. This lobbyist/political partnership did more harm to the U.S. than our enemies could only dream.

The lobbyist/political partnership is simple; lobbyist provide the money to elect a politician, and once in office, or re-elected, the politician passes laws to make the corporation more money. And by hedging a “global economy” against a weak and leveraged American debit, we have a pillaged America. Like the fall of the Roman Empire, the roads to the U.S. have been opened by greed and quickly invaded. All this while our soldiers are sent away to fight for freedom of people that would wish us all dead. We have no heroes to protect us from the money changer hordes.  

I wonder who the lobbyist want for President?

Wow all flimflam and no meat in this one....you point is easy to see : “not TAXING American corporations is bad for America” a decidedly liberal and idiotic idea that drives the average Democrat to a fever pitch but makes no sense.......
Care to expand on how exactly our economy has been damaged by not radically increasing taxes on American industry ???

To your last question the answer would be Clinton....that “brand” has a strong track record of low prices to bad China already own them

First you explain how exporting American jobs is good for the U.S economy? Extreme right wing fundament thinkers like you are easy to manipulate into giving up America.

Oh here we go!

Exporting American jobs good for U.S.economy? You mean like importing our oil instead of paying Union workers only after paying for enviromental impact studies, and following more regulations than any other industry has to endure? The price of gas in this nation if we had to pay domestic workers to drill, ectract, refine, transport would be staggering!

The military and merchants ships have most of their repairs to ships done overseas now because its too expensive to do it in the US!

We pay out the nose for domestic steel and have huge tariffs on others that bring theirs here, they in turn recoupe that by placing high tariffs on goods that we export to them!

Hillary Clinton herself had a part in pushing out drug companies because they made too much money, and refused to protect them from suit from vaccines that are never perfect. We ended up with flu vaccine shortages for years!

Ms Speaker Pelosi herself is blocking the vote on PAA for updating FISA because she is in bed with TORT lawyers! Liberals find the gravy train on legal action against telecoms more important than the defense of this nation!

How about Gore taking donations for the DNC from Airline industry in turn for not requiring them to upgrade their security procedures. Sen.Daschell's FAA/Lobbiest wife was put in charge of reviewing the drafts of Gore's report to ensure it would not force a financial hit on the airline industry....

Does that answer your question? What part of reducing corporate taxes resulting in tax revenues comming into Washington at rates higher than ever before do you liberals not understand?

Clinton taxed us into oblivion and only mustered up a 7 Trillion GDP. Bush reduced taxes and now WITH a war, WITH 9/11 WITH previous recessions, and WITH Katrina and other disasters, STILL has a 14 Trillion GDP on the books! National Debt THREE YEARS ahead of payoff goals!!

All these facts are just a google click away!
Liberals are jumping all over the numbers game here on the housing market. OMG! 5% of homeloans in trouble as opposed to 1% before! Yes, because Congress mandated that we avail loans to people who otherwise would never qualify, but I don't see anyone spouting the TOTAL number increase of homeowners!

It's liberal number games!

Number games Cont.

Liberals will spout numbers either in a percentage or in a sum depending on which one looks better for the agenda. Example:

"Big Oil!" making profits in the tens of BILLIONS!!! Yet now put this number to overhead and operations, and your PROFIT MARGIN is between 7 and 8%

Yahoo and Goolge for example have profit margins at 20 to 25%

Yet now we don't hear about "Big Internet" do we...
