THEY WERE SNEAKING AROUND...LOOKING FOR SOME ALONE TIME. NOT REALLY A HOOK UP ...MORE LIKE A SHOTGUN MARRIAGE.

HILLARY AND BARAK HAD THEIR (NOT SO) SECRET MEETING. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS SAID. WE DON'T KNOW IF HE SAID " I WILL OFFER YOU THE V.P. JOB IF YOU PROMISE NOT TO TAKE IT."  WE DON'T KNOW IF SHE SAID "GIVE IT TO ME OR I WILL MAKE SURE YOU LOSE. I WILL RUN THE NEXT TIME , PAY ATTENTION TO THE CAUCUS STATES ... AND WIN." IN OTHER WORDS (OR ACTUALLY THE SAME WORDS I JUST USED) WE DON'T KNOW. THEY MET FOR AN HOUR...ALL ALONE AND THEY LEFT LAUGHING.

TODAY BARACK IS FLIRTING WITH OTHER POTENTIAL VP'S...HE HUNG OUT WITH JIM WEBB (SENATOR FROM VA...HAS A SON IN IRAQ....THE GOOD... HE HAS NATIONAL SECURITY CRED...THE BAD HE'S BEEN A SENATOR FOR ABOUT 5 MIN ..SO HE BRINGS LITTLE EXPERIENCE TO THE TICKET). THE NAME BILL RICHARDSON HAS BEEN FLOATED (GOV OF NEW MEXICO ...THE GOOD HE MAY HELP WITH THE LATINO VOTE...THE BAD HE WILL KILL THE CHICK VOTE..HIS OWN LT GOV (DIANE DENISH SAYS HE IS TOO TOUCHY FEELY....PLUS BILL CLINTON NOW HATES HIM...SAYS RICHARDSON LIED TO HIM AND ENDORSED BARACK)) MAYBE CAROLINE KENNEDY WILL COME UP WITH SOMEONE (COUSIN ARNOLD? CAN'T... MAYBE ED RANDELL? TOM STRICKLAND? TOM DASCHLE? I LIKE MIKE BLOOMBERG?).BUT I THINK WE ALREADY HAVE A WINNER.

NOT THAT I KNOW ANYTHING ..IF YOU WATCH THE SHOW YOU KNOW THAT.. BUT EVEN BEFORE IOWA I SAID THEY SHOULD RUN TOGETHER. IT'S THE DREAM TEAM  (AND MUCH DREAMIER THEN BEFORE THEY KNOCKED THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER). NOW GRANTED BEFORE IOWA I THOUGHT BARACK WOULD BE THE NUMBER TWO (BUT THEN CAME THE DAVID COOK /DAVID ARCHULETTA UPSET). STILL I THINK IT'S EVEN BETTER THIS WAY. HE GETS TO BE JFK...SHE GETS TO BE DICK CHENEY (CAN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING DICK CHENEY LIKE THAT'S A GOOD THING). I MEAN HILLARY GETS TO BE THE PIT BULL. SHE CAN BE THE ATTACK DOG (AS THE VP IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE GENERAL ELECTION) AND SHE CAN GET THINGS PUSHED THROUGH CONGRESS. I'LL GO ONE BETTER... SEND BILL TO CONGRESS. HE CAN HAVE HILLARY'S SEAT. THAT KEEPS HIM BUSY AND HOPEFULLY (HAVE YOU READ VANITY FARE?) SO IF BARACK IS JFK ...I GUESS BILL CAN BE TEDDY KENNEDY.
WE HAD COKIE ROBERTS ON RECENTLY. I HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED HER BUT SHE SAID BARACK AND HILLARY WOULD BE A TERRIBLE TICKET. COKIE SAYS WHY WOULD YOU WANT 2 SENATORS FROM THE SAME PART OF THE COUNTRY? YES IN THE OLD DAYS (JFK AND LBJ...OR MORE RECENTLY JOHN KERRY/JOHN EDWARDS) YOU WANTED PEOPLE FROM VERY DIFFERENT PLACES. TO APPEAL TO THE WHOLE COUNTRY...BUT I DISAGREE WITH (THE VERY SMART COOKIE) COKIE.

BARAK BRINGS IN THE CHARDONNAY LIBERALS AND AFRICAN AMERICANS. HILL BRINGS THE BEER DRINKING LIBERALS, LATINOS AND WOMEN...WHO ELSE IS THERE? YES THIS WILL BE A PAIN IN THE THE OBAMA FOR BARACK. SHE WILL NAG HIM LIKE AN EX-WIFE...AND HE WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER (CURRENT) HUSBAND...BUT DON'T YOU SOMETIME SACRIFICE TO WIN?
SO IF THEY ARE HOOKING UP...I THINK THEY SHOULD GET MARRIED.

Dorothy, I frequently find your obesrvations and commentary to be off base and diconnected. Your generalizations about which voters the candidates will attract is narrow minded and ignorant. Your reporting is really lacking and seems you obtain info 2nd hand. I LOVE Steve & Jillian, Jean & Tone, Lisa, Nichelle, the Ricks and Suzanne. Also, you should stop referring to famous people by nicknames you make up and they never use like "Frankie" for Frank Sinatra and "Angie" for Angelina Jolie. I'm not a fan of Ms Lucey.

dorothy my love, i don't get pacoJazz. this blog was excellent. i like mcCain. i like barack too. i don't want hillary to be my president. that senator from Delaware seems like a good guy. what's his name? oh yeah Joe Biden. i like joe biden. here is some chatter from ABC's sunday chatter 5/18/08--STEPHANOPOULOS: David Yepsen of the Des Moines Register thinks you should be the choice. Here's what he wrote. He said, "He has grit and gravitas. He's not rich. He's not known as a womanizer. He would appeal to white men, who, despite all the chatter about women, minorities and young voters, are a constituency Democrats need to do more to attract."

BIDEN: Well, where were you, David, when I was running out there?

STEPHANOPOULOS: He was pretty good...

BIDEN: He really was. That said, there's going to be all kinds of speculation. I'm up for reelection. I'm running for reelection to the United States Senate. I'm chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. I've made it clear I'm not looking for that job, and...

STEPHANOPOULOS: But you won't turn it down.

BIDEN: Well, you know, anybody that's asked by their nominee to be their running mate, you'd have to consider it. How could you just blow it off? You can't do that. And -- but I don't anticipate that happening.

I agree with you Dorothy, I think its a great idea, an Obama-Clinton ticket is the best thing imo. I like McCain as well, but unfortunately, it seems that Republicans take care of the upper class first, and regular Joes second, so I think Obama-Clinton is the best thing for the country at this time. I don't agree with either of them much on immigration, I wish they'd listen to those of us who have to actually live with the illegal immigrants. But that aside, I think they'll do alright. I hope. Even though I think Obamas a huge pansy and his choice of spiritual leaders is shocking, to put it mildly. I haven't been to Church in a while and if that's what pastors are turning into, then thank God I haven't. Its a good thing he's dropped out of that church, but only after those tapes surfaced, and how many years of membership? Talk about convenient timing. But whatever, I hope he's smart enough to ask Hillary for help and I hope it all works out for the best. If not, then oh well. Its all supposed to end eventually anyways.

Your blog is not only entertaining but does actually refer to some very strong candidates for VP.. as long as it's not Clinton.
I also disagree with the earlier comment from PacoJazz. I think you're one of the hottest reporters on TV and would take you over Jillian any day....

If Hillary is not on the Ticket, I won't vote for Barak! Simple as that. I am very afraid of what will happen if Barak wins because I just can't stand how people are so moved by him. So, he is good public speaker, but so was Hitler. How could you really want to vote for someone based on the way they speak in front of people. Hillary had the best tool for being president; her husband, Bill! He had already been there, and remember those good old years when he was president? HELO???!!!! I know that people say they vote for their causes and try to find a candidate that believes in what they believe in, but really. How many people really belive we are going to have Universal Health Care? Yeah it would be nice, but c'mon, unless you want to have a large increase in taxes and the republicans pass a bill like that, it will never happen! I am a Democrat, but I won't vote for Barak if someone else is the VP, I will vote for John McCain even though he believes in Amnesty. Barak scares me! He has everyone hipnotized

No! No! No! Bush #2 and cronies didn't work and Clinton #2 and cronies won't work. We need to wipe the slate clean meaning Barak needs to choose a VP that IS NOT a Clinton. I am a lifetime Republican who grew up behind the "Orange Curtain" and am planning on voting for Barak only if Clinton is not on the ticket. Otherwise, it's McCain. And yes, there are women out there who just don't trust the Clintons.

Clinton #1 did work! So #2 would have worked or at least the advantage was there! Now it's either Barak or McCain. What's not to trust about the Clintons? We all know the Bill is sleezy but does that really matter when it comes to running the country?

I was thinking they might ask me to be on the ticket !

I don't like either Clinton. I like the Joe Biden idea, but no one from the NE would add anything to the Barack ticket. Someone who would be appealing to southerners would be the best choice, I think. Maybe Al Gore? Errr...maybe not.

I will be checking my messages !

Actually Crafty, I must side with Dorothy somewhat. First off McCain unless he acts stupid will probably be the next president. I know you are jumping for joy. In a sense what Dorothy did was post an entertaining though on the politician's so I guess Dorothy being a veteran entertainment reporter/anchor and this being aimed in that direction, that it qualifies so in this respect I agree with Dorothy on the issue somewhat. Whether they are doing anything I could care a less....con't

As for the Tinselturds running this industry, they are mainly all a big bunch of Tinselturd Schmucks mixed with Hollysluts. If they thought stiffing the writers was bad wait till they stiff the acting talents. Tell you what Crafty, I am picketing alongside the actors who supported writers. Think that Jackazz Zack at the WB is gonna try and run me over again like last time...?"UP YOURS HOLLYWOOD AMPTP jerks" and drop dead as an organization, got that Charles baby!

let me guess Sebar you got another rejection letter...go ahead and picket nobody will be crossing the line because unlike the writers strike there will be no work for anyone to cross a line to go to..in the mean time there is work 7 days a week and barring a strike im booked through february..and even if there is one i doubt it will be anything like the writers strike so im not sweating ..now back to the issue at hand of course McCain will win if you remember Ms Strogovs blog way back when i predicted this election since Iowa although i didn't think Obama would be the democratic nominee and according to Clinton hes not ..but whatever see you the picket line ..well not exactly ill be home writing like i did on the last one ..or maybe a well deserved vacation it will be hiatus any way..funny how that worked out

But Obama will be history too after Nov 4th... like GORE, KERRY and DUKASIS and Modale were. Good to beat a Liberal.... all the great things they tell us they can help us with never seem to be mentioned in their Senate career after getting beat. Hmmmm?

If Obama does win..... which I cant see the USA Voters going with him, someone has got to rig him up with a shocker or ear piece to tell him to speed up his talking past the speed of Paint drying. He can give good speeches by reading.. but ask him a question and you almost want to smack him in the head to get him to talk faster. 4 years of that will kill me and it will make Bush look like Shakespere.

The education system must be further out of whack then I thought if so many of you could actually consider voting for someone who has done nothing, earned nothing and in his own words who has said he would side with the Muslims if push came to shove. My vote is too precious to waste on a television politician. I think I would rather have that other whacko liberal Martin Sheen, he at least has the experience of playing a president.

so what do you think of Hillary's concession speech..she pretty much put the nail in Obama's election chance coffin..embracing her womanhood saying how we came so close ..but got beaten out by a man and a black man at that..without the woman vote now and no Hispanic vote and few if any white middle class males are going to vote for him ..looks like the Clinton's won anyway ..

Actually Crafty I am over 40 so I fall into the age discrimination range that Hollywood likes to use...A LOT! Besides rejections in this industry come over the phone at least in my case or by emails, but right now I am not pursuing this endeavor a lot as I have other issues to deal with. I am doing this because I remember many celebrities for the small and large screen supporting writers, and I hate Tinselturds so why not have at it? In addition you are sadly mistaken my tack hammering friend, if you think others won't honor the picket line, you are way off base. In a rotten industry like this with the AMPTP schmucks, you can well believe that a strike is looming and will continue unless the AMPTP wises up which they will not. Maybe Charles the 3rd can just go take his bunch and drop dead and do everyone a big favor. As for your union, may they feast on the banana's that tack hammering monkeys love until it pops out of your president's ears, in which case he gets monkey crap...have a nice weekend, and Dorothy too. For once, I agree with her on certain issues!!!

oh nobody wants it because your over 40...hey I'm over 50 and i can get my stuff read..and if you hate the industry so much why do you want to be a part of it??maybe you should stick to writing high school term papers or hit the lotto and start your own production company so you can do your own stuff and prove all those people your so jealous of whats up..and once again what dose any of this have to do with Dorothy's blog about politics??

I THINK BARACK OBAMA IS WORKING WITH THE REPUBLICANS HES WORKING WITH THEM BEACAUSE THERE GOING TO BE SUBPOENA OVER THE INTERNET GUY SO HE SCORED A DEAL WITH THEM THEY DELIBERATELY HELD THE FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN PRIMARIES EARLY ON PURPOSE SO IN OTHER WORDS THEY STIFFED THE FLORIDA VOTERS MIND THEN THEY HELD THE PRIMARY AT THE LAST MINUTE AND STOLE HILLARYS DELEGATES SO SHE WOULDNT BE THE DEMO PRE. NOMINEE IF SHE SUPOENAS THEM THEN THERE GOING TO END UP GOING TO JAIL.SO THEY ARE DISCUSSING AT A THIRD PARTYS HOUSE WHETHER OR NOT HE HAS TO MAKE HER VP OR NOT.BUT IF BARACK DOES'NT SUBPOENA FOR WHATS GOING ON IN THE INTERNETS GUY ROOM THEN HES INVOLVED WITH THE REPUBLICANS IN CORRUPTION AND FOR THE REASON THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WONT INVESTIGATE OR PROSECUTE WHATS GOING ON IN HIS ROOM ITS ALL OVER HIM.
