Jack Murtha, the turncoat of the Marine Corps who claimed they were killers and rapists has endorsed McCain by proxy. Since no one can believe a word Murtha says, his stating that McCain is too old to be president must mean just the opposite. Let’s look at facts; Murtha served in the Corps as an adjutant and saw very little or no combat yet somehow sports the medals of a hero. We all know McCains war record and he sure deserved any medal awarded him. McCain could more than likely out run, out gun and out wrestle Murtha with one hand behind his back. Age is irrelevant in this case as it’s the stuff you’re made of that counts here. Out of the three candidates for president only one has any experience in Foreign relations, in military matters and in daily operations of the government. Mr. Obama has 4 years as a junior Senator, Mrs. Clinton isn’t much farther ahead in her role as a Senator. Our goal as a nation in this election should be to put the most qualified person in charge of what they charmingly call the football. It should not be who the blackest person is or the most feminine, it is simply a time for solid experience. If you elect a person to office simply by race or gender you are selling our children of tomorrow short. We all have been taught that we are all Americans and all bleed the same blood when cut so how does the color of ones skin make him qualified to be president? It’s time to wake up before it’s too late, credentials are what we should be looking at and not charm. This president to be elected is going to reign over a period of time in our history that will someday be looked at as pivotal to our survival. Without strong decisive leadership at this point in time, our country will be reduced to that of a second class citizen of the world. We cannot be so blind as to allow the far left to take over our great nation. Their objective has been to make one perfect world out of the entire earth. We work ½ a year now before we earn a dime for ourselves, add the rest of the world to the equation and see how long it takes. We are headed in the direction now for a North American single government if the present path continues and the wrong moves now will cement it. Even our friend McCain is of this ilk and should be watched carefully. This is our America and we had better start standing up for her sovereignty before it’s too late to save her.

And that’s my opinion,
Don

I really can't tell if you are getting these, but I will try one more time. I have applied but my responses don’t seem to post.

I agree we should not be voting on the basis of facilitating a historical moment, but we should be voting for the person that would be the best for the office and nation at this time. They all are qualified by the standards of the constitution; therefore we must consider what each has to offer.

Wisdom has taught that experience can be crippling; if one does not know how to apply it to the current conditions. Experience is the act of going through something, but all don't learn or understand the lessons associated with going through. I don’t think anyone would dispute the experience level of the current administration when Don Rumsfeld, Collin Powell and a few others who have departed were present.

Actually there is not one black candidate for president.

Murtha, long known as "King Corruption" needs to go. I take no stock in anything he says or does. His record speaks for itself, pitifully.

I am married 66 years old and a businessman in Northern Nevada. My political views come from the experience of my 66 years and 40 of them in business for myself. I believe in a commonsense approach to government rather than a reactionary one. I believe in welfare for the person trying to re-establish rather than the present form where it is impossible to get off the roles once on. Man should be rewarded for his actions not his inaction.
