Okay now I have heard everything!!! Some idiot wants to ban [...] [...] [...]? What is the problem here? Does it remind the person that they are too loose with their lifestyle? Are we going to say that Santa is using an offensive term that refers to promiscuous individuals?
Come on people get some common sense!!!! [...] [...] [...] was around long before people took it to use towards prostitutes and promiscuous people. And it didn't come from Santa's [...] [...] [...].....it came from people abbreviating the full word, because it was too much effort on their part to say the whole word.  I think we are getting WAY RIDICULOUS here. Why is it that one person has to try to ruin it for everyone else.
Yes there are some things that need to be halted....but Santa's warm [...] [...] [...]....is not one of them. Stand up for something important!!!!!!!!!!! Quit being a nitpicker!!!!!!

I am glad that someone is finally questioning Joyce Meyer Ministries. Who spends 30,000+ thousand dollars on a marble commode or what ever it was. I was suspicious when she put in a heated toilet three years ago or so. Now don't get me wrong, I think it is okay for preachers to have nice things within reason and when it doesn't interefere with church. I just came out of a church where the preacher's house and vehicles look nicer than the church and the church van. I agree with the lady interviewed on the news. Preachers are to preach Christ and being a Christian is to emulate Christ. If we have faith in him, he will provide all our needs. Joyce Meyers does not look like your typical preacher....she looks like something out of Hollywood with all her blingage!! And this is another question I have??? You are supposed to be able to talk to your preacher at any time..how many personal calls does she take and CAN you call her at anytime without having to go through the red tape of assistants? And what if a church member needs financial help? Would she help or is she saving it for a marble toilet paper roller to match her commode?

Thank goodness that someone is FINALLY standing up about everyone's pants hanging down!!!!

I am so sick of going out and seeing everyone's underwear!!! I have no desire to see what kind, color or style skivvys people are wearing!! With their pants hanging so low, I always wait for someone to fall on their face.

I think it should be illegal!!!! It is immodest!!! I hope more mayors stand up and put a halt to it.

Is this the season for stupidity? Ever since the couple in St. Louis left their daughter in the car and she died, I have been hearing more and more stories of parents doing the same exact thing.  What is even more disturbing, as if a child dying isn't disturbing enough, a police officer in Phoenix Arizona, left his K-9 dog in a sweltering car for 12 hours to die.  I don't get it!! When I had my children, I knew what they were doing and where they were 24/7. I can't understand parents being so consumed with careers or errands, that their children slip their minds. As for the police officer, isn't your K-9 counterpart supposed to be your partner? Aren't you supposed to protect your  partner? I haven't heard of any K-9's leaving their human partner in the car to die.

 I really hope this plague that seems to be spreading over the country ends soon. I don't like to see that children and pets have died at the hands of ignorant people. Do these people think they can claim it was a terrible accident and get away with it? I hope the law tell them different. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Use the brain God gave for something other than worrying about making that almighty dollar!!!! After all God has given you something more valuable!!! Take care of it !!

My son, who serves in the United States Navy at Naval Station San Diego, sent us 300 dollars through UPS, to help his Dad and I.
He mailed it Thursday and it came Saturday. When we opened the envelope it was EMPTY. The money had been stolen. There was evidence that the envelope had been opened and then taped shut. They charged my son 50 dollars for two day service. When I called and told them about it they said there was nothing they could do about it because they weren't supposed to send cash. I said well if that is your rule why did the guy who was working LET him send it and charge him fifty dollars to do so. They said maybe a driver opened it and I said yeah they have a lot of time to sit there and open and then tape shut the packages just to see what was in it. My son and I both believe it was the worker who KNEW what was in it. He sent it from the UPS by the Commissary on the base. If it was a rule they should have refused to send it, but this kid knew he could make a quick profit. UPS is going to investigate . They are coming to get the envelope to to some tests on it for fingerprints but they said there was not any way we could get our money back. I hope this kid realizes that what comes around goes around and I hope UPS presses charges when they trace it back to him.

What is it with some police officers? I was on my way to Wal Mart and was approaching a four way stop and just before I came to a rest at the stop sign a Jerseyville city police officer went whizzing through the stop light. He had NO lights on and NO siren on. This occured at about 11:46 pm tonight. Why do some officers think they are above the the law that they are supposed to enforce? If that had been me I would have gotten my weight in fines.  These cops need to smarten up and set an example for the community.

I hate insurance companies !! We have Mercy Health through my husbands workplace. My husband has sleep apnea and was issued a CPAP machine through American Home Patient. These machines now come with a data card that can give the company information on its use. My husband gets up at 4:30 am and goes to work. He gets home about 4:45 in the evening. Like any typical man, he likes to watch TV and spend time with his family. He would get to bed about 11 or 11:30 at night. On weekends he sometimes would fall asleep on the couch or stay up later. Well American Home Patient sent a data card in the mail and asked me to copy the data off the machine onto the card, which is done by inserting the card and pushing a button, and send it back....so I did. They determined that my husband had only used it 39% of the time that he had it, so they decided to take it away from him. Also they said we had missed an appointment at the doctor for a check up. I was baffled because they had never told us about any appointment. The insurance decided they were not going to pay for it, and didn't tell us until we had racked up three months of fees that they wouldn't pay! AHP came and took the machine and ended up turning the $700+ bill over to an attorney. I tried fighting it by calling the Dept. of Ins in Missouri to no avail.  My husbands cardiologist said he would get it back, but hasn't yet. Why is it insurance companies are such jerks. My husband could die from this but all they care about is getting those premiums. I have priced a machine like the one my hubby had and they are 1200 dollars.  We are planning to try to buy one with income taxes, but are praying that nothing happens in the mean time.  Like I told the insurance...you can't make someone go to sleep if they are not tired.

Today at 4:40 P.M. our tornado siren went off in Jerseyville. There was a funnel cloud spotted west of Jerseyville. It did not touch down,it went back into the shelf cloud. I turned on Fox 2, but there were no warnings.....Dave and the gang where were you??

 

You  know the reason this country is in the shape it is, is because everyone has lost the guts to stand up for what is right ! I admire Bishop Burke for standing up for the moral thing to do.

The hospital is a Catholic organization and if they let someone perform that has amoral beliefs, then that is going to make the church look like they don't stand firm on their beliefs.

Too many people quiver in what they believe, for fear of offending someone. I am sick of it !!! If you believe it then have the guts to say it ! Stand up for it !
 

My son is in the United States Navy serving our country. What if our military decided they didn't know if we should defend ourself because we might offend some other country. Well we wouldn't be a free country !!!  

By the way, I am not Catholic, but I still back Burke !!!!
