On the Democartic side with the Iowa primary over and Obama continuing to rise it seems his message is soundly defeating Clinton with Edwards positioning himself to try to become the vice president. Obama's message of change is bringing in many new young voters. He is going to be a very formidable candidate if he wins the nomination. On the Republican side Huckabee wins Iowa but I do not think he is a viable national candidate. Even though he also brings a change message he appeals to a very narrow group. He would be a much better vice presidential candidate. McCain has userped much of Rudy Gulliani's hawkish support due to his success in Iraq and is the closest to a frontrunner the Republicans have. If he wins New Hampshire and Michigan he would be in a very good position to get the nomination. The Dems turned out almost twice as many people in Iowa as the Republicans which bodes poorely for the Republicans but maybe that is just Obama's likeability.

Can you define the word "change"?

Everybody wants it but nobody has defined it.

Martial law could mean change couldnt it?

A surveilence society where we are all watched under a microscope could be a change too.
To keep us safe of course.

CAMERAS are all over the place in chandler, approx 10,000 or more surveilence cameras, 4 cams in every intersection, what are they doing, planning for our change?

A 1 world government is what I believe their change really means since all the candidates are CFR members except RON PAUL.

Is it me or has the word VIABLE been used more this election than ever before. Seems like everybody's more concerned about a victory for the party over the candidate they most support.

My two cents. This country has more moderates then ever before. As it stands now...sure more mudslinging will follow. The only REP that can give Obama a run in a national election is McCain. This Tueasday should tell us a lot.

Demboy,

Tell me which blog site this blog is on! Is this the Phoenix blog site? I clicked onto the icon next to your avatar and got in. On this one, it doesn't say which site it's featured on.

I am a Freshman at UW Madison. I believe in real solutions to real problems. I didn't see the Republicans offering any of them so I a gave the Democrats a chance to do something. I believe both parties are too polarized now to get things done so I think moderates are needed. I am a moderate liberal. I spent months deciding who to support in the presidential election but I finally have decided to vote for Senator Barrack Obama. I love studying world problems, playing tennis, playing video games and now blogging.
