I have been sitting here for around 3 weeks trying to come up with a blog to write, and nothing has come to mind. I guess I have writers block.

Oh sure I posted a joke but to me thats not really a blog. It's just something to pass time with. A blog to me has to have good subject matter and something to be able to debate about.

Well today I decided I would just write to everyone and let you know I'm still alive. I'm just lost in la la land. I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes I feel like I'm lost in another demention. My mind doesn't coinside with my body and I'm lost in space. Do you ever feel like that?

Well basically I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. I hope you all have a great weekend.

So what makes a good blog to you???

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England.  In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York

This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico.  But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost. The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were  eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss. Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course,As Sinko De Mayo.

alert alert!!

This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan, Taliban Minister of  Migration, Mohammed Omar, warned the United States that if military  action against Iraq continues, Taliban authorities will cut off  America's supply of convenience store managers. And if this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell and AOL customer service reps, and then Motel 6 managers.

 It's getting ugly.

Oh btw who will you vote for???

There use to be a time when the most popular colors on cars were red, blue, & black. However, over the years there have been a huge variety of colors passing through the automotive world.  Colors such as green, yellow, orange, rose, & purple to name a few.  I mean there have really been some wild colors out there.

So with all the colors of the rainbow  to choose from. What color is your car and what is your dream car?

I have been holding my tongue about this issue ever since the waters started rising. Now I understand how homes can be flooded by a creek over flowing, because it rarely happens. But what about the people who live in the flood plains.

The flood of 93 should have taught these people a good lesson about living on the flood plain, but if you look alot of those people rebuilt in the same place.

Then we had the flood of 96. Which wasn't as bad as 93, but just as distructive. Again these people refuse to leave, and rebuild. What is the deal?? Is it really that important to live by the river?

I agree that the river is beautiful to look at, but come on!  If I had the choice between living on a hill and looking at the river, and not risking distruction or loss of life, or living in the flood plain. I think the hill would be the place to be.

What about the people who refuse to leave their homes?  If the water is up to the top of the first floor windows. I'm pretty sure theres not much you can do. So leave already!!! Why would you risk your life for material possessions anyway. Grab some clothes and get out!!!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can not feel sorry for someone who everytime we have a spring thaw their house gets flooded.  What do you think?

Last night around 11:30 - 11:45 my bed started shaking then it stopped. I got up and went into the bathroom and it felt like the floor was rolling. I just want to know if we had an earth quake anywhere near us last night?

We had a great day today. A few of us decided to get together and have lunch. We went to Fitz's at the Delmar loop in University City. It was a pretty cool place. You could actually watch them bottle their rootbeer.  We were happy to be able to meet Imapayne and her daughter for the first time. It was just good times with good friends!

Over the past couple of months I have heard people say that the arguments going on between Obama And Hilary will inevitably cause the Democratic party to lose in the November Elections.

I have thought about this alot, and although Hilary and Obama are talking alot of garbage about each other. I don't think it will matter in the long hall. When it comes down to it one of them will have to win the nomination.

I really don't see the country living another 4 years under a Republican rule again. I think most of the country is ready for a change.

What do you think?

This touches very dear to my heart as this is happening in my family.

Tabby's 15 yr old cousin McKinzie and her mother Jeana has been through a series of tragedies.   In July 2007 McKinzie  lost her father.  On March 11, 2008 she has lost both of her grandparents. Her and her mother, Jeana has lost everything. Their loved ones, their home and their possessions including clothing.

You can view the story here:   http://www.thetelegraph.com/news/river_120

An account has also been established for the family in the church's name at US Bank. Donations can be made at any of the bank's location.

Please keep our family in your hearts and prayers.

I am totally devistated and I can honestly say I don't know what to say. I was awaken this morning with a phone call from my son who was in tears. When I answered the phone he just blurted out that my daughter-in-laws aunt was dead and that she burnt up in a fire this morning.

All I could do is say omg what??? He then proceeds to tell me that they found out about it on the news. No one had told the family. The entire family is devistated and I am at a total loss of words. How do you console someone in a case like this? How do you tell someone that god needed her, and actually make it sound sincere? You can't say things like she's in a better place, because look at how she got there. This is just unbelievable!

My daughter in law was hysterical as is the rest of the family. I was able to calm her down enough to where I was able to tell her to try to be strong, because her sisters and mother needed her right now.  I felt someone in the family needed to get there head together so they can deal with things realisticly,

As you can probably see I don't deal well with death. I haven't been able to deal with it since I lost my mom at a young age. I don't know what or how to say things that will make the family feel better. Like I said before what do you say to someone in this situation? What can I do to make things ok for them? I just don't know. I'm lost! I'm just plain lost.

Sometime in your life you have to stand your ground. I have done that over the past year or so. I allow only certain people into my immediate life. These people are allowed to know me completely. I am one who observes behavior, and although I'm not an angel. I try to be a nice person. There are some people I choose not to be around. These are people I have observed and found not to be the type of people I choose to associate myself with. I will not be discourteous to them if they speak to me, but I won't be going out of my way to converse with them either. This is the type of person I am. If you don't like it oh well get over it! Because I'm not changing me for you or anyone else. So with that being said I hope you have a great day!
