I am over 60 and the Armed Forces think I'm too old to track down terrorists. (You can't be older than 42 to join the military.) They've got the whole thing backwards. Instead of sending 18-year-olds off to fight, they ought to take us old guys. You shouldn't be able to join a military unit until you're at least 35. For starters: Researchers say 18-year-olds think about sex every 10 seconds. Old guys only think about sex a couple of times a day, leaving us more than 28,000 additional seconds per day to concentrate on the enemy.

Young guys haven't lived long enough to be cranky, and a cranky soldier is a dangerous soldier. 'My back hurts! I can't sleep, I'm tired and hungry!' We are impatient and maybe letting us kill some arsehole that desperately deserves it will make us feel better and shut us up for a while. An 18-year-old doesn't even like to get up before 10 a.m. Old guys always get up early to pee so what the helllll. Besides, like I said, 'I'm tired and can't sleep and since I'm already up, I may as well be up killing some fanatical son-of-a-bietch.

If captured we couldn't spill the beans because we'd forget where we put them. In fact, name, rank, and serial number would be a real brainteaser.
Boot camp would be easier for us old guys as well. We're used to getting screamed and yelled at and we like soft food. We've also developed an appreciation for guns. We've been using them for years as an excuse to get out of the house, away from the screaming and yelling.

They could lighten up on the obstacle course however. I've been in combat (Viet Nam) and never saw a single 20-foot wall with rope hanging over the side, nor did I ever do any pushups after completing basic training. I can hear the Drill Sgt now, 'Get down and give me ... er .. one.' Actually, the running part is kind of a waste of energy as well. I've never seen anyone outrun a bullet.

An 18-year-old has the whole world ahead of him. He's still learning to shave, to start up a conversation with a pretty girl. He still hasn't figured out that a baseball cap has a brim to shade his eyes, not the back of his head.
These are all great reasons to keep our kids at home to learn a little more about life before sending them off into harm's way.

So let us old guys track down those idiots who think they have seventy one virgins awaiting for them because the last thing they want to see is a couple hundred thousand pissed off old faaarts with attitudes and killer instincts who know that their best years are already behind them. If nothing else, put us on the border and we will have it secured in twenty four hours.

From the  L.A. Times

 1. 40% of all workers in L.A County ( L.A County has 10.2 million people) are working for.. cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

  2.  95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

 9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In  LA. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

(There are 10.2 million people in L.A County )..

(All of the above are from the  Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on we lfare.

Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida , and New York ) results from immigration.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue.

WHY CAN'T WE SEND THEM HOME ?

The following information is based on 2000 U. S. Census Bureau information and obviously does not include Illegal Aliens.

Q. Have Hispanics become the majority ethnic group in Southern California?

A. The Hispanic population now represents the largest ethnic group (40.57%) followed by White (38.85%), Asian (10.19%) and African American (7.30%).

There is a new Immigration Bill on Capitol Hill and if passed it will have a profound impact on the aforementioned statistics. If you think L.A. Mayor Tony emboldens the existing Hispanic community and continues too perpetuates Legalization, rest assured, he will be our next Governor if this bill passes.

As a relative newcomer to Blogging, I have read countless blogs dispersing concerns, frustration and anger regarding the Illegal Immigration threat we as legal citizens are faced with in this country and the underlying theme is “What can we do to stop the madness?”

Very simple…. Get out and VOTE!!! You have the power by your vote and if you don’t vote… don’t [...]. Don’t be a “Kool-Aid Drinker”. (For those of you who are unfamiliar with this term, I’m sure you remember Pastor Jim Jones who took his congregation from San Francisco to “Jones Town” in South Africa? When his world was ready to come crashing down, he had all his followers drink Arsenic laced Kool-Aid. Over 900 men, women and children died that day.) Don’t be a “Kool-Aid drinker”. Think for youself.

Whatever your political persuasion, don’t depend on the media to give you unbiased information. Remember, they have an agenda. Don’t base your vote on the way your husband or wife votes. Google the propositions, get the facts for yourself and then decide.

In 2006, voter turnout was less the 41% in CA alone. I would bet that 2/3rd of CA residents don’t even know who their District Representatives are let alone who the Congress people and Senators are and what their voting records are. PEOPLE,… THESE POLITICAL HACKS CONTROL YOUR FUTURE!

If you have time to Blog, make time to Google. It’s easy to find out who the District Representative, Congress people and Senators are and what their voting records are. Google them. Determine if they support YOUR political views then VOTE with your knowledge.

Well today is my first day into the world of blogging and many thanks to "My Fox LA" for providing a novice like myself a forum to jump in with both feet. To say the least, it has proven to be very entertaining and I promise to keep my first entry short and sweet. I took particular interest in “Is Sharpton a Bigot”? by Sharyan. My response speaks volumes of how I feel on that subject matter. I too watched the H&C debate on the Fox News Channel and watched Sharpton tap dance as I have never seen tap dancing before. And while I was reading some of the responses to Sharyan’s posting, I paused and reflected on the last episode of “Survivor Fiji”. Bear in mind, I watched this series purely for its entertainment value but was amused by the fact that three AA’s made it to the final three. Two thirds of them were well educated, well spoken, were financially responsible and projected a reasonable degree of integrity given the bases of the game. However, the other one third lacked any of these qualities and played the “Oh Whoa Is Me” card throughout the entire game. That’s how it seems to work in the real world thanks to the Reverend Al.

Happily retired conservative male on the downhill slope of life and after 45 years of living in this cesspool called Southern California am moving back to changing seasons, excellent fishing and Mexican free Wal-Marts. There truly is a God!
