Are you getting runtime errors on these blogs?

We've had a few people tell us they're getting "Runtime Errors" when they try to access the blogs.  This has come up only in the past couple of weeks.  If you're having trouble accessing these pages, and if you're getting a Windows pop-up box that calls out "Runtime Error", here's what our developers are telling us to do:

Go to Microsoft.com and search for "Support".  Download this driver and install this on your system.

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP
(KB925454)

If you have your Windows XP (or Vista) system set for Automatic Windows updates, then you should have this patch already on your system, and that may be why so many of you aren't  seeing this problem.

Thanks for the patch - but when I was getting the errors, it is when I was visiting from a computer that I cannot update - i.e. work, a friend's computer, etc. Is there any fix without an update patch? A lot of people visit the site from work or somewhere where downloads aren't possible.

no runtime errors here... but on my home pc and the one at work, loading a page takes 10 sec.... waaay to long. And I've had all the updates available and have used 3 different tools bars with the same results.

Our developers are looking into the root cause of these errors, so I can't answer your specific question, I_S. A couple of people have mentioned there may be conflicts between user-installed toolbars (Google toolbar, for instance) and some code in these pages. But no one knows for sure.

Char, we haven't seen the slowness here today, but I'll keep my eye open for it.

I tried downloading and got a message saying it doesn't match my version of Internet Explorer.

Also, alot of my problems were resolved when I started coming to this site via Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
