I'm beat, and I think I'm ready to sleep for 3 or 4 days straight.

I know some of you love our winter coverage, and some of you would just as soon see your regular favorite FOX programs. Either way, we appreciate your feedback. I spent most of my week managing the hundreds of school, business and church closings that we had to put on the air.

Winter storms are good for business though. People watch a lot of TV, and increasingly they turn to the web for the news they need. Here's how the week of winter weather affected the myFOXdfw.com blog site.

Since last Saturday morning, we've had 800 people sign up for new blogs. That's our biggest rush of new bloggers since we launched the blogs back in July. We've had more than 1,000 new blog posts, and 5,000 comments posted too. So if you haven't visited us lately, come back to myFOXdfw.com to see what your neighbors are saying.

We're going to bring back an old favorite today. The best blog in each category will get front-page exposure for the rest of the day, and into tomorrow too! And post your pictures too. It's easy to upload them into your own myFOXdfw.com photo album, and if you have just a wee bit of HTML skills, you can embed a photo into your blog text, just like many of your neighbors have learned to do this week.

We're glad you're with us! Have fun, and stay safe this weekend. I'm going to hole up with my fireplace for a couple of days.

I turn my tv on during all the weather coverage. I can watch the news 24/7.
It's like an on going soap opera.

I been here since 9/9/2006. You even made me a featured bogger back in September. But thanks for showing my picture of the ice-cicle anywhays! LOL!

I rather liked it best, when Fox rotated Blogs to the Front page, INSTEAD of leaving the same thing up all day... or worse, all weekend. It thing the change is more intersting, but whatever... it belongs to you after all. We're just having fun!

We rotate quite a bit, sometimes several times a day. It depends on who's moderating and what's going on with new posts. But I think there's value in promising people for one day that we'll leave them up there. That way they can tell their friends.

Nancy, hmmm. I thought I saw you were new. Must have been someone else I was looking at right before my live segment this morning. My mistake. I must have had on-air amnesia! I'm glad you're here!

Dallas47, Baron picks out different people. I purposely don't direct his picks because I want them to be people that interest him.

thanx chip... I was just saying, it seems especially on the weekends, that the same Blogs stay up over 24 hours, where back last Aug., ya'll seemed to rotate every few hours. Whatever, no big deal!

Without reservation I can truthfully say you folks at Fox 4 have totally humiliated the rest of the TV stations in the Metroplex

Your entire programming format is head and shoulders above the other channels

And this blog site is totally out of this world.

I don't know when I have had this much fun for free.

And on the news -- I don't care if you run weather into the ground or broadcast straight news -- I will be watching each of your newscasts.
