What is wrong with these celebrities! They have all the money in the world and they can’t have a designated driver… how idiotic is that!

Maybe they can’t distinguish the difference between real life and making a movie

Lindsey it is none of my business what you do but when you are over the limit and you are driving you are endangering lives any idiot knows that

I hope it wasn’t all about upstaging Paris…

While we are on the subject on alcohol I want to say something we are all individuals

I’m not a drinker occasionally ill have a drink and honestly I don’t enjoy it at all

But ill tell you something I started drinking when I was about 8 years of age (Italian family)

We had our glass of wine at dinner time it was there for our taking I never liked it and I have never had a DUI and ill never will I get drunk on my own adrenaline

I would make the law at 18 to drink ,I'll tell you why… Teenagers will find a way to get their alcohol -someone will buy it for them and they will drink as much as they can compact it in the one session …drink till they drop!

but allowing it and teaching them to drink in moderation you will get more stability its like the forbidden apple -the more you say no the more you want it

I personally think if you’re a drinker in California you seem to be treated like a criminal

One scenario- you go to a nightclub around the corner from your house you have driven there but you realize you had too much to drink and you decide to walk home… however you are stumbling and the cops see you -they stop you and Bingo! you go to jail for being drunk in public!

You got to give some slack just because you drink it doesn’t make you a criminal

But if you drink and drive then you deserve to pay for the consequences

So dear Lindsey you did the crime now do the time.

Hollywood types who make big bucks and like to drink a lot need a designated driver. That would protect the public and the celebrity's future income potential. Some producers want nothing to do with personalities who spell nothing but trouble.

I do not agree with the age change. I do have what some people may call myself includeda double standard that if your are old enough to fight for our Country then why not old enough to have a beer? Ban alcohol? Samo I really have bit my tongue lately but what is the deal? Just going from blog to blog and mix it up some or do you really feel the same as your comments? I spent more than a few years working with the public. Served a few drinks in my time. Did I miss a change in the law somewhere? Minors are allowed in places where alcohol is served only until 10:00 p.m. if food is being served. Servers, bartenders and business owners are supposed to cut a person off. The reason Lindsey,Paris, Mel just to name a few are of course treated different than the us is because who they are. How much do you think tips are when the "ELITE" are buying? They still harm and kill innocent people. So because of them I should not be allowed to go to hang out with the car club I am in on Fri. after working 12 1/2 hour days and have a couple of beers and a pizza only when my husband drives?

well for me, booze just brings out the worst in people. i mean it's poison for our bodies. look at all the horrible things this drink brings to us. it can lead to death by drunk driving, or just drinking way beyond a person limit. it makes it easy for men to take advantage of women, or slip date rape drugs in their drinks. it leads to addiction. it can lead to physical abuse. nothing good comes from it, and i don't see it any different then other drugs that are ilegal. i know most just think they can control how much they drink. but i also know that everyone that drinks also have gotten behind the wheel while buzzed or drunk atleast once. so that's why i think it should be banned. but that's just me.

Carmela,

You are so right on! - I have mentioned numerous times - so much money - no designated drivers - !!??? I don't get it! Now, I do like the occasional glass of wine - If I knew that I could really "let my hair down" and I could afford a driver or even a taxi - go for it - Someone should give these spoiled starlettes some tough love!!!

If you don't know me and how did that happen I am by the law all the way. Like samo I have done that. Had a few drinks and drove. God sure was watching no one ever got hurt.I also have God in my heart and thank him for all the things I have or done. God in my heart helped with my son's death. If not for Him I would not be here today. Sorry again I got off track. I am against breaking the law 100%. Wish that would be the same with the rest of the world. I won't bore you with my oersonal 'stuff.' but I am pretty sure most accidents and deaths are traced backed to illegal & irresponsible people.

I'm all for her doing some time behind bars, "do the crime you do the time." I don't agree with changing the drinking age. I think it will only create more problems. Most young adults are not mature enough to handle certain situations and if you add drinking to their immature minds you have really created a monster. A drunk monster. What worked for you may not work for the majority. The legislatures know what works for the majority.

I just want to know who decides that for publicity I think that a minor is o.k. What happened to the rules? You very rarely see the drunk get hurt we all know why. There is supposed to be 1 rule or law for everyone. The bar, the server they all need to do the time also. Same with medication. Anna Nicole was an example of what money can get you. Now you know hwr poor daughter was born a drug baby. Shame on all of them.

There are also immature adults I don’t believe age is a factor it is all about the responsibility of an individual...look at our young soldiers fighting for our country some aren’t even 21 to me that’s a huge responsibility and if they feel like having a drink... So be it
Salute!

read your bio- isnt it funny how we ALL are discriminated at some point? it seems their is always something the majority will find and use agianst someone. For me it was coming from Argentina, having and Italian and Spanish background. God forbid! I was the only one from Argentina in my whole school! the majority, Mexican ofcourse. They gave me such a hard time. Now they call me racist???!!! the irony is laughable.

Hey! my ex was from Argentina....
It wasn’t just the kids ill never forget the teacher her name was Ms Miller.
Red hair and red lipstick... I was in grade 2- I didn’t know the answer to her question she came over to my desk and hit me with a ruler over and over again my leg was so red with marks I cried so much it was hurting
...my nose was running and i didn’t have a handkerchief I was so embarrassed I used my sleeve to wipe it.
my class mates were all staring at me.
I was so humiliated that I didn’t want to go to school the next day I pretended I was feeling sick.
I never did tell my mom cause I thought I was going to get more on top of that...
but you know im pretty happy with the person I have become.
Thank you dasvics for sharing

Anytime Carmela.
What that teacher did to you is criminal! She should be thrown in jail. She's very lucky I wasn't your mom, cause I would have given her such a beating! how dare she? that is unbelievable! I went to Indiand a few years ago- and the principal wanted my permission to paddle one of my daughters for talking back. I looked at him straight in the face and warned him that if he laid a finger on one of my babies, it would be him getting the paddeling. Can you believe I had to sign a form stating I didn't approve of corporal punishment at school? wow. Thank God we live in this great Country. We have a better shot at living a good life.

I agree Carmel...Look at Europe their drinking age is 18 and I don't think they have the DUI problems that we do. I am one of those that believe if you are old enough to drive a vehicle, vote, fight for this country, you should be allowed to buy a beer, or even gamble your own hard earned money! Like you said, forbidden fruit....God knows when I was under 21, I would go to those restaurants that were clubs after 10pm, and my friends and I would hide out in the bathroom (they never checked in there, can you believe that!!??) and walk out after 10 to get sh**-faced. We always had a designated driver in our group, we would take turns every week. But my point is, once I turned 21, the thrill was gone because it was legal. And I also come from a family of European descent who served the occasional wine at dinner and would have a sip here and there as a kid, no biggie.

Simple friendly and caring with one dream -I want to meet Adam Sandler... I have four beautiful daughters and a granddaughter I'm a dreamer and my dreams keep me going I have seen places that people dream of, never won the lottery always worked hard. I believe that nothing is impossible I traveled to Australia from Sicily when I was six years old, now I live in the USA I've had diversity through my life I’m not afraid to die but I’m afraid how I'm going to die I'm in two minds about after dying- one is of science and the other is God I believe people need to know that there is something after death and I believe religion is there just to keep us in control when I’m alone I speak to God and I never use Gods name in vain and I never blame God for my mistakes I have been to confession but not in a long time. I respect people-when I get angry I ask God to take away the anger cause it is a waste of energy I’m naïve sometimes I’m not the smartest but I’m smarter than some… people say I have a beautiful smile and a pretty face but I know there is always someone prettier… in my old age I have become vain But I still look younger than fifty-one I am an open book I smile all the time and I love people I wish I had a magic wand so I can take the pain away from all whom suffer … At this very moment I have this urge to go to LA and feed the homeless cause I never take anything for granted I give donations when I can and I thank God everyday for what I have and not what I don’t have… people who know me will say I’m crazy (but I’m crazy good) I work with elderly I take care of someone’s mother or grandmother I respect all races but have no respect for ignorance...
