Entertainment :  amusement ; recreation ; diversion ; beguilement ; distraction ; extravaganza ;show........ now that we see the meaning of this very popular event and how Americans , and the world love their  " entertainments" even at the high cost of those who are forced to do the entertaning when  1. it is not their will or nature to do some of the cheap stunts that are painful and dangerous to them. 2. they are mistreated and even beaten when they do not perform the trick as the ring master wants. Yes I am talking about the Circus ! It is time for that type of ' cruel entertainment " to be banned and forever  annuled.

Cheap Tricks  :    Can you hear their voices weeping – painfully , mournfully crying out " come save me from this sorrowful torrment. my captors beat me, suffer me to live without proper care, food , shelter. When they get angry they hit me, unmerciful they are. They leave me hurt , wounded chained all alone. I am so sad. so frightened. I need some one to come and rescue me from this torrment and awful painful living conditions- if you call this living. My living quarters are dirty, cramped, cold. They take my babies away from me. I don’t know where they are. I miss them. I don’t feel well. I don’t want to play with the ball anymore, or stand on my head, its so uncomfortable, or sit up at the ring master’s command and whip. I just want to go somewhere quite and peaceful with my baby and my own kind. And be free. Would you be so kind as to help me and others like me forced to live this horriable way of life, to find a way to escape this lonely , cruel life? To be and live as my Creator meant for me and others like me. Please hear my weeping and come to my rescue".

please don't support the circus. if you doubt how cruely the animals are treated- hang around quitely after the show , and watch. would you want to live the way they are forced to live and travel  !?  And remember the meanings of entertainment > diversion ; beguilement ; distraction . These words desribe it so true to form. please write to your Senator and Congressperson, or your State Representive and tell them the circus tops must come down once and forever. Its not entertainment  - it is torture for the animals.  It is not kind to them, nor just, nor right. If you think its okay- well then put yourself in their cage after the show, or your foot in chains after the show, or ride in a box car  with no ventilation  , literally for hours with no way to rest or change positions or stretch your stiff aching muscles for being in the same position literally for hours till you get to the next town to set up for another entertainment show- then finally you get to get out of the dirty poopie , urine waste  box car you were forced to  stand in hours upon hours, no freah air, no fresh water or food. yeah - go ahead you live like that- then do your cheap tricks to distract me from seeing your misery..

As many of you know I am an " animal lover" all kinds and every kind God made. Well they have a very short and hard life here on this planet we share with them...and truthfully their hardships exists because of mankind. Well there are cruel acts being done  " illegally " to dogs in the Philippines, they are herding them like cattle, even so far as stealing family pets , and butchering them for meat in resturants and meat markets. these dogs suffer cruel acts , even before slaughter. One year ago, I wrote to tell you about the horrific dog meat trade in the Philippines. Our investigators had just seized a shipment of 100 dogs packed tightly into the back of a truck, bound for slaughter. These were just a few of the thousands of victims claimed by this cruel industry every year.

In the months that have passed, we’ve made progress in our campaign to stop the dog meat trade. But our work is far from done. Some officials continue to look the other way. That’s why I’m writing you today, to urge you to tell local officials in dog-eating districts to enforce the ban on dog meat and close down vendors and restaurants still selling this illegal, cruel product.

The large majority of Filipinos do not condone the consumption of dog meat. While some bill it as a "cultural practice," the commercial trade is anything but. Although the trade was banned by law in 1998, it was still active in certain regions of the country due to lenient fines and light penalties.

Just last year, local organizations successfully lobbied to strengthen laws against it, and now we are working with them to ensure these tough new penalties are enforced. We are continuing the fight to end the dog meat trade. But we need your help again.

Baguio City is renowned as a tourist haven, but it also serves as a center for the trade and many restaurants and street vendors continue to sell dog meat. Please send an email to the Mayor of Baguio City and urge him to enforce the laws of the land and shut down these illegal dog meat peddlers.

The dogs used in the trade are rounded up in the streets, stolen, or even bought from their unknowing owners for a paltry sum. These animals depend on humans to care for them, but dog meat traders betray their trust -- all for a few more dollars.

Together we can take a stand for dogs and fight cruelty in all its forms. Please take action today.

please sign the petition or even better yet write your own letter. but before you judge me , condmen me, or say alot of other countries eat dogs. Stop and look at what dogs do FOR the well being of mankind- we have the rescue dog in avalanches, and disasters, we have police dogs, seeing eye dogs for the blind ,  drug-sniffing dogs, cancer- detecting dogs, show dogs, herding dogs, specially trained companion dogs to help the elderly and handicap, they are our   four legged family members, and how many times in the news do we hear how a dog saved another life- usually their human friend? They warn us of danger, stand beside us no matter what danger comes-  they love to be with us, play with us,  get lonely when we are gone,  always happy to see us when we come home, help us hunt game, defend us against harm or attack from others ,  they are faithful companions and deserve better than this.  and they have intellegence!  God didn't creat the dog to be dinner for the gluttony of man! Please - these dogs need your voice and your care. thank you.

Well did ya all hear about the 15 year old who smashed to death a momma cat with chunks of road debris, over and over he smashed the heavy rocks into her fragile helpless body. The momma cat did nothing wrong, did nothing to deserve this sad, anguish death, leaving her very young needy kittens orphans. Why did he do it? That is not even a good question, a proper question, for would there be an acceptable answer? Absolutely no! There is no excuse for such savage cruelty. Here comes another monster on the loose- more animal killings- then when he gets bored with that he'll move on to humans- maybe someone's baby, their toddler....it grows with him as he grows- and then we have a full fledged serial killer who has no concience, no fear, no respect for life- ANY LIFE. they want to " help him", mend his self esteem, fix his emotional anger" how? well they came up with a real "weiner of a brain storm " - make him work in an animal shelter so he will learn to love and appreciate animals! Oh like that's gonna work !  Are these people MORONS? good people can not fix broken down evil people. Only Jesus can do that and only when the evil person personally wants it and asks Jesus to forgive him...." I am sure these people have good intentions and  want to help this monster-teen, so he doesn't become a serial killer, but I don't believe this poor momma cat is his 1st victim...I once read that a child by age 5 is pretty much developed emotionally ,mentally , and  their personality . If this is true, this animal slayer is well past that point and beyond man's help - no matter how good their intentions are. This  hateful teen has some real dangerous issues deep down- Jesus is this kids only hope, and the only hope of the lives that he will come into contact with. Should he be " mending his ways & paying his dept" by working with other helpless animals in cages in a shelter- for mercy's sake -NO-get him away from animals and small children and keep him away from them. In 3 years he will be 18, what is the legal age to buy a gun? He can go into the U S Armed forces and learn other ways to kill...this kid needs help no doubt about it- but the right kind of help and the right environment- an animal shelter is NOT the right help or environment to " fix" this teen who is well on his way of rising to become another monster -slayer of lives, animal or human! This is where we need tough laws with true help , compassion, guidence and God. There is no other way to fix the evil that is so taken over the hearts & souls of mankind- only God their creator has the healing powers and the " fix" that mankind  so desperatly needs. Politicians, Priests,Schools, physcians, child Developement Centers, prisons, Counselors are all helpless to change the evil in this teen or others like him- if they could - do you think our prisons would be so overflowing as they are? Our ways and systems fall very very short- they fail. we are helpless to changing evil people into good people. So please don't put this rising monster to work with animals and put these precious animals in harms way! that would be just STUPID!!!

The Hunter...cold,  heartless. seeking its own selfish desires. To snuff out the breath of God in whatever life form it can ravage and prey upon. Who is this Hunter you are probably wondering... it is also known as "death". It something we all at one time will be confronted with, whether human , animal, plant life.   Ecclesiastes 3: 19   "  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all [is] vanity.       We all fear it, even the animals when they sense it , they flee from it, they fear it as we do. Why? Because it is unnatural to die, we were never created to go through death. Genesis chapters 1, 2,& 3 tell the sad truth of how this came to be. It is clear it was not part of the creation plan. Just look how we try to " stop " death from taking us. We have 24/7 emergency rooms full of doctors and nurses to stop us from dieing, even so for animals...I work at a Veterinary Hospital, we even try to save them from being taken by this cold -heartless breath snatcher. We learn CPR, we try eating healthier, we excersice to keep fit and healthy, we explore new methods of healings and surgeries ....all to post pone death. Yet the Hunter of souls comes ...sometimes without warning, many times without mercy, snatching the very Breath of the Creator from those God created. Animals too have the breath of God even as we do, the only difference is we are made in God's image, the animals are not, but He created them and gave them life as He did you and me. By now you may be wondering why am I writing this. I hate death, its cold hand feels out the warm body so full of life and snuffs out the sweet life once filling that body, whether human or animal. We all want to live and stay alive- even the creatures who share this world and life with us. Today three different families came to the Veterinary Hospital, each one with their beloved pet being gripped by this callouse Hunter of souls. The first family so sorrowfully weeping knowing what was to come and can not do more to stop death from taking their beloved family member, I too began to weep for them and with them. The second family came in -an emergency- their beloved pet was suddenly having convolsions, the doctors could not save her, her name was Sugar, as I watched the couple , the husband took his wife in his arms to console her, only to break down and weep with her-his big shoulders heaving with the grip of sorrow and loss, I also got teary eyed- I know their pain,but as I watched them -I saw love- Sugar was loved- how comforting to me that was- LOVE. the third couple came in with a dieing Rottweiler- my kind of dog- I once had four of my own- my heart broke. she was very sick , how my heart ached- for the suffering Rottie, the young couple, and for  my  own loss - Montana died and left me last November 1 2007- I still grieve - missing them all .  the young couple had waited to long- not realizing they jeaporized her chances. Death, the Hunter, respects no one.       Yet  God is merciful.   The Hunter has companions- cold, heartless, ruthless humans- those who take life that isn't theirs to take, those who show no mercy to the weaker ones, animals included here. Some one without a heart or conscience set aside on a raod a box of new puppies and just left them their to suffer and die! Left them without a concern or care- what a SOB, a monster, how could you? you cheap sob- if you don't want puppies , 1) have your adult dog spayed or nuetered, 2) don't have a pet, 3) have some backbone you coward and take responsiabilty for the lives you helped getting here! those puppies had no chance- all they wanted was their mommie- and you put them in harms way with out a care or a backward glance! Well God sent  them a saviour- someone found them and took them to a shelter- the one thing you could have done likewise you lazy good for nothing coward! I wonder , when the Hunter comes seeking you will you find mercy or a snarling death grip?  He that shows mercy begets mercy, he that shows compassion begets compassion, Psalm 24:1, and Psalm 50:10-11 just to mention these 2  - those puppies belong to God - entrusted to you for their safety and well being- you denied them that- and God will require of you what kind of steward you were for His puppies. You are RESPONSIBLE whether you want to be or not. One cannot just put life in a box, put it on a road side and wash their hands of it and just walk away - kind a like what Pilot tried to do when He ordered the death by crucifixion of God our Saviour Jesus the Christ- he was responsiable.- washing his hands with water, or brushing the dust off your hands does not wash away your responsibility of the act you helped bring into happening. life - all life is a gift from God- and should be cherished , and loved.  How many times over and over do we hear stories how a pet, an animal saved someone's life- why? what would make an animal put its own life at risk to save a person? her babies? her companion? Something we all need to think about.  And look at life through the eyes and heart of  God our creator. respect life , cherish it, for death is unnatural to all of us , we all fear it- try to escape it- have a heart of compassion on all God's creatures after all none of us are promised tomorrow.

What is the value of life? It seems since the very selfish woman who likes to have sex but not the " produce" of sex does not think a breathing living wee babe is valuable- I am referring to the woman who started  the death penalties against unborn babes, you all know : Wade vs Roe. It seems since she " opened " the doors to legalized murder, that murder has increased to such horrendous degrees. In the Holy Word of God , when it talks about a woman being " pregnant" it doesn't say  a " fetus", a " groweth" it says " with child"... isn't that the most beautiful way to say another human being?....life ...awesome. Yet certain " humans" can legalize a death penalty without any conviction of the murder they allow.  ...and how about others? mmmm ... how about the young black man that was  doused with gasoline and set on fire? No life should suffer in such cruel and horrific way....did you witness it? Are you this brothers keeper or are you in league with his murder? snitch? what is a snitch ? Look it up in the dictionary- interesting info. Is this life worth nothing? What if it were your brother? sister? mother? dad?  God requires an honest witness. Why would anyone say nothing to see a cruel act of murder? Babies murdered in abortion is ever so cruel , and so is setting another life on fire. shooting, stabbing, beating with a baseball bat, poison> murder is wrong!  I am sick of people getting away with cruel, horrific , satanic murder. This ungodly woman who started this ugly legalized murder of unborn human babes has brought to fruit the lessened value of life.

Be your brothers keeper- stop murder- if you see something - be brave and report it. If you don't want a babe- don't have sex. so simple.

well once again  an animal suffers only to loose its life  for the sake of entertainment and getting rich !  Alas how would man live without his entertainment and vast array of his money making Colosseums? I'm talking about the Kentucky Derby, oh I know its an American icon, a " sport " of Kings, there's always another horse right around the corner- right- win some loose some..Eight Belles... they ran the horses on a wet muddy rain soaked track, mud is slippery..but oh the chance to win thousands was much more important than the welfare of the horse. by the way , when was the last  time America had a king? I had a broken bone before, the pain is unbearable, I can't imagine running on  not one but two broken limbs. the poor animal...mankind are monsters filled with cold greedy hearts ! Lets look at the big picture, we have the Colosseums of pits to hold illegal ' dog fights", another for " rooster  fights", then we have ' the gambling " on the Colosseums for the sports of entertainment  like the all American Baseball game, another one for Football, Hockey any one? Oh and lets not forget the Sport of "  Hunting  "wild game, esp . when its alot easier from a helicopter and powerful automatic rifles, or the sport of " Poaching" bears for body parts to sell and make thousands of money on the black market to Asian ancient hokus pokus medicines, again for cold heartless greedy monsters...we call them humans.  Then there is the Collosseum of the age old " Circus" Barlem & Bailey...awwww yes, the wonderful array of animals who travel  America so they can live in cages, and train cars to entertain us. they suffer horrendeously, so they can profit the cold heartless monsters who force them to do stupid, and often dangerous tricks to entertain stupid uncarring humans.  And lets not forget the " Colosseum" of Scientific research  in Laboatories on animals for the benefit of human welfare? What? How?  Their DNA can not possiably be used to make our lives better. The scientists are just like Joseph Megale ( hitlers mad monster) We " SUFFER " animals to live , perform, and die  for food and fur,  and medicine for greed and riches .  Many of todays " perscription drugs" have more dangerous side affects than the desease these mad scientists are trying to treat. Money is  making  pharmasuticals wealthy  Yet  when  its their turn to die they  can't even take  the money with them !    Ha   ! That's justice !  mankind has exploited every living thing he can get his ugly greedy heart on, even  on his own race, the slavery of humans, from the beginning of time to even now.." the Colosseum " of human trafficking for sex slaves and brothels., many of which I believe are stolen and missing children. It is  a   Presidental election year, one candidate is going about with his campaign preaching & promising " it 's a time for change", and yes it is...but only God change the wicked hearts of men...if they repent from their wickedness...but many love their greedy lucre. it is a time to change ....how we treat animals, they deserve their normal lives to live in freedom, not in Colosseums for man's fun, games and entertainment and rich quick schemes. It is a time for change in the laws to protect children  forced in sexual crimes, laws that are strick and judgments to fit the crime. Animals and children are not here for our pleasures to manipulate, torture, abuse, suffer, and get rich by.  life is more than " fun and games" and its wrong to force the lives of others, whether they are on four legs or two, to exploit them and suffer them to do our bidding  for our entertainment, greed, cruel passions,  or out of control  unholy lusts needs to end !. I would like to see the laws put an end to animal labatory experiments, end the circus, animal cullings , slaughter houses of cruelty and uncompassionet  means &  ways , end horse racing, horse slaughter, laws to protect  animal from torture and abuses, men who rape children should be castrated- no ifs and or buts! those who are caught in human trafficking should be castrated and life in prison. A life is a life- once its suffers , and is gone its gone forever.

 

The strong, the brave , the Proud.....the Marines. Really? well not today! So is this the new way we train marines- teaching them to grab babie, defenseless puppies to hurl them over a cliff? Was he taunting Iraqie children? an Iraqie family?  Surely this marine would have known this video tape would get viewed- is that why he did it? to get out of   the marine corp with a dishonourable dischage to get out of the war in Iraq? To save his sorry ass?  This so- called marine is nothing short  than  a cold, heartless COWARD !  A shame, an embarrassment to his commander, his platoon,  and to the Marine's. how can I support my troops if they do such acts of cold heartless cruelties? I know - it was only this marine and those with him( who did the video taping- you can't tell me he wasn't in on this poor puppy's horrific death). shamefull. cowards!!! Court martial is too easy an out for this coward. if I was in his platoon- he would get the " top blanket party ever ". of the year!  this marine , if he were my son, would not be welcomed home to me, he is an embarrassment, I would hang my head in shame and cover my face. He has brought  America low, and embarrassed, and disgraced the marine Corp, his platoon and comrades in arms, his commanders, his America of these United States. he has spit on this country and brought shame to us all. no  ! court martial is to good for this coward...what he deserves is to have a commander like king David and what David did to Uriah the Hittite.  no keep himin the Corp- keep him in Iraq. He's a disgrace to this country and to the Marine corp. As is those who allowed this hiddeous act of barbaric cruelty. why didn't those there try to stop him from hurting that poor puppy who did nothing to deserve this. I wish I could look in his face- I would spit in it! Marine? hell no- a brutal heartless monster!  A  COWARD!! He should be PUBLICLY dishonoured - world wide! I am sending a copy of this letter to my Senator Sherod brown and Congresswoman Betty Sutton. this should be made aware to the President- for it really makes this Country look shameful- no honour , no bravery- just embarrassment! This so-called marine is a bastard!

a while back someone told of horses being starved in stark county. we tried as this person did to know what to do to legally help these horses. Well, hopefully it 's not to late.who ever you are I hope you see this.

FIGHT ANIMAL CRUELTY Report Animal Cruelty

Animal cruelty is not only wrong—it is against the law in every state in this country! Animal abuse can also be part of a pattern of other violent acts within families and society. Abuse of any kind should be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.

Where do I Report Animal Cruelty?

In NYC: Cruelty situations involving animals in New York City should be reported to the ASPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement department at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4450, or humanel@aspca.org.

IN NJ: If you believe you have witnessed animal cruelty in the state of New Jersey and would like to report it, please call the NJSPCA at (800) 582-5979 or fill out NJSPCA's online form.

Outside NYC: You will need to find out the name of the persons in your area who are responsible for investigating and enforcing the anti-cruelty codes in your town, county and/or state. These people typically work for your local humane organization, animal control agency, taxpayer-funded animal shelter or police precinct.

To find out what agencies are authorized to investigate and arrest instances of animal cruelty in your state (i.e, does the enforcement of animal cruelty laws fall under the authority of the police department or animal control officers?), visit our state-by-state list of state anti-cruelty investigatory-arrest powers.

If you run into trouble finding the correct agency to contact, you may wish to call or visit your local police department and ask for their help in enforcing the law. Similarly, you can ask at your local shelter or animal control agency for help. To find contact information for your local shelter, check the yellow pages or visit the ASPCA’s searchable database of nearly 5,000 community SPCAs, humane societies and animal control organizations.

Tips for Reporting Animal Cruelty
Once you have found out which law enforcement agent you should speak to, it’s important to provide him or her with a concise, written, factual statement of what you observed, giving dates and approximate times whenever possible. If at all feasible, try to photograph the abusive situation and date your pictures. It would also be helpful to get short, factual written statements from other witnesses.

When you call to report animal cruelty, always make sure to keep a careful record of exactly whom you contact, the date of the contacts and the content and outcome of your discussion. Never give away a document without making a copy for your file! Make it clear to the agent that you are very interested in pursuing the case, and that you are willing to lend whatever assistance you can.

Follow Up if Necessary
If you don’t receive a response from the officer assigned to your case within a reasonable length of time, don’t be afraid to present your information to his or her supervisor and, if necessary, to local government officials, such as the county commissioner, and ask them to act.

If you have witnessed the cruel act yourself, you can go to your local police commissioner and ask to swear out a warrant to summon the accused person to court. Remember that expert witnesses are sometimes necessary in animal cruelty cases. A veterinarian, for example, can sign a statement that it is his or her “expert opinion” that a dog suffers when hit with a chain, is deprived of food, etc. Expert opinions will very often make or break a case, so if you happen to know a sympathetic veterinarian, you may wish to seek his or her assistance and tell the officer that you have expert support lined up for your case.

The ASPCA shares your concern about the media’s depiction of violence and cruelty towards animals for entertainment purposes. Please know, however, that many of these instances are constitutionally protected free speech—and may not even involve a real animal.

If you are offended by something you viewed, we suggest that you contact the network that aired the program or the publisher of the film in question.

You may also wish to contact the American Humane Association Movie and Television Unit  online or at (818) 501-0123. This unit oversees the use of live animals in movies and television as part of an agreement with the Screen Directors Guild.

Websites that Depict Animal Cruelty
The Internet delivers an astounding array of images and ideas into homes across the world. But not all of these images are particularly animal-friendly. In fact, some of what is being sold and shown online crosses into the realm of criminal activity. And in some cases, there are laws against showing and selling these images.

To report websites that display acts of cruelty to animals, please contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice. 

Well back in January of 2007 my brother set me up with a used pc. He got it all programed to my liking and away I went. This is my first home pc. As I watced the  fox 8 news one night Bill Martin was talking about fox8's new web site and "blogging',  I  immediatly joined. I'm alone most of the time. except when I go to work. or with my dogs. I really don't have money to spend going out, then of course it's no fun going out alone anyways( I've tried it)lo . So I work, pay bills, do necessary shopping. work around the house, so on ( boring) Most of my friends are busy with their own lives and families...no one really wants to hang around a 50 (+) year old, single lady. I enjoy staying home...but there are times ,not often, that I wish I could just GO! Well,  I always enjoyed writting( I wanted to be a Journalist and travel the world and write about everything I saw and went, and did) marriage and baby put an end to those dreams. But the passion never died. Well as girlscout so keenly noticed in a comment on a blog awhile back said " boy do you live a sheltered life" and she is so right.So by joining this fox 8 blog site has widened my world. It takes me to all the places I wanted to see and write about. It allows me to write and share my " small & sheltered " world with all of you. It has given me the opportunity to meet so many nice, fun, carring,and yes, even a few wild funny characters. It gives me the opportunity to share my faith in Jesus, the poems I have written, to share my thoughts, to learn from others by their wisdom, experiences, thoughts and opinions. And that by comparing our lives, our thoughts we can achieve an explosion of groweth and learning from each other. That perhaps learning from others and listening to their points of view will help me to learn and grow, and become a more informed and better person.This wonderful web site has opened a door of wonder, fun, new experiences and people from all walks of life that I would  have missed meeting in my " sheltered" life here at home. So many of " my new cyber friends" have become so dear to my heart in such a short time.  I will not mention their names for fear of mistakingly not mentioning one of them. Fox 8 news, I thank you for this opportunity of fun, learning and sharing and meeting such delightful, funny ,carring people. It has truly become an open door. I realize our opinions and views will not always be in allignment, I also realize they don't have to, after all we are individuals which makes us all special, unigue and important. Yet in the same token we are really the same  and so much alike. Just like a mixed and assorted bouque of dazzling array of flowers. Today as I went into work, I noticed the single red rose sitting next to the picture frame with the name of this resident who passed away January 23, 2008. If you don't know, I work at a Nursing Home, one of the best. It broke my heart, he was special. He was a World War II vet.  They are getting fewer by the days.  I really enjoyed looking at his youthful picture in uniform. He was a handsome young soldier. He looked proud, confident, with just a slight look of  one who could be sweetly mischievious. his wfe , which I met only a couple times, was just as sweet and adoring. And  it saddens me to see another soldier leave us.  However  it takes me back to my dad. he too was a WW II vet. He was in North Africa, Trippalli  I think. He told me some stories. One was quite gruesome. How did he handle it at what 18-19 years old? Me and dad always watched " Combat" together, and other WW II movies. I had a crush on all the soldiers( only Americans). Sometimes I would cry when " one of ours" got killed in the movie. I'm one of those who watches a movie and well, I'm there!.

Well I just wanted to say what brave and honorable men they  were who fought in such a horriable war. Men of valore,  soldiers of character and strength. To give my thanks to them for they're sacrifice . Not only for America, but also  for those who they fought to release from the oppressor, Hitler & his armies and Communisum. And now here we are again, sending our brave Americans to defend and rescue. How handsome they all look, how strong and confident, my heart swells with pride, yet as I look at the men & women who protect and defend, self- sacrficing soldiers, it breaks my heart that some will fall. God bless our soldiers.  whether we  raise voices  to end this  war or say it needs to be, let us not forget the most important thing of all...to let our boys & girls in uniform know we support them, whether in prayers, care-packages, or letters, or helping their loved ones at home left behind. Forget not  they are laying their lives in harms way for the good of all, here at home and abroad. So next time we see one of our finest let us tell them to their face " thank you". And " dad, if you can see this, I just want you to know how proud I am of you and your part in the WWII , that by your self sacrfice of being there, helped win the war, and set others at Liberty. I am proud to be your daughter. God bless you daddy."

when I joined " myfoxcleveland.com" it was with  the intent to reach out into the world, meet new people, hear what they had to say, make new friends. try and make a difference in the world for the better. It was never my intent to offend , hurt, or upset others.

with the article on the teens & tiger, I was wrong to say "  to bad the other 2 made it out a live" that was very un-Christ like. of me.I wrote this blog in anger, something else I did wrong.( Ecclesiates 5:6 & Ephesians 4:26). so for those of you I wronged, offended or hurt ..I am sorry. Allow me to say how this came about... I  am a member of the Humane Society & ASPCA. I had just read an article  about an animal sanctuary in Africa where the rangers had been keeping safe 4 black female rinos , one was about to give birth any day now. the rancgers had cut off the horns of the rinos so poatchers would not kill them, the black rino is on the endangered spieces list. In the still of the dark night, the poachers came to the animal sanctuary, where the animals are suppose to be safe, like the zoo, the poachers found the rinos, they saw the prize ( horns) were gone, in anger they slaughtered  all 4 rinos including the one female about to give birth, saddly the baby rino died also in its mothers belly the rangers tried to save the baby but it was to late. Later on I heard a story here in the good ole' U.S.A. that a big rig was carring  a large group of YOUNG DRAFT horses to slaughter. These horses , young , were healthy , draft horses do not sale cheaply. Being young, healthy, expensive, they were being slaughtered to sale to Europe for human cunsumption. I've seen the video how these horses are cramped into trucks, reminds me how Hitler packed Jews into train cars,( also going to slaughter). I have Jewish blood line so don't give me a hard time on this, I hate Hitler & Natzi's) the horses suffer just the same as the Jews did, no air,  it's hot, no water, afraid...so on. Then I saw how they slaughter them, they stab the horse repeatly til they hit the right spot in the neck to paralize it, then it is dragged & hooked up by the back legs , hanging so to have it's neck slashed to bleed slowly to death. well the truck driver did somthing to break the law, I forget what , something about driving, he wrecked the rig,  19 young draft horses died in the accident, it didn't say how the other 60 + fared. Can you imagine their panick, fear,  pain? Then I hear how these teens snuck into the zoo,  & the tiger attacks them ..so on. so with all this on my mind  I  lashed out in anger. This is no excuse. I was in the wrong to feel the way I felt .

" to " betterdays : you said " PETA and people like you make me sick" I take it you mean animal activists, of which I am one. God raises up people, groups to do His will for the good of all, even animals.( have you never read about Balaam & the donkey?, Numbers 22). if you can go back into history , when children were deprived, forced into labor camps, mistreated, so on, someone noticed the injustice of the mistreatment of these children, they spoke against it , did something about it, now we have  Child Labor Laws, Children Service Board, No-Child Left Behind law,  Amber Law, Children Hospitals, on and on because someone dared to stand up against the injustice being heaped on children, they now had a Voice! Congress, Senators do their part to  carry on the laws to continue to protect children as long as we care to raise our voices against the injustice against them. Now, it is the animals turn. They have no voice- except those who dare to stand up against the injust treatment done to them. They too have the breath of God the Creator in them just as man does, the only difference is that God made man in His image. By having the breath of God , we become " a living soul" , even the animals! They too feel fear, trauma, pain, cold , heat exhaustion, sorrow, joy, & they too can sence the scent of death and it's fear. Should not they also be given love and compassion? Read Genesis chapter one very very slowly. Animal activists do not care more about animals than human lives. There is enough people, groups, laws in effect now looking out for the welfare of Humane lives. The animal activists is focussing on the animals who now need the attention and help. Back in the 1800's in a city in Tennessee, a circus had come. As the elephants were being unloaded, a female broke her rank, she was so hungry she had smelled a watermelon and ran to eat it. the animal handler, went after her, beating her with the iron flesh hook, when she could tolerate it no more, she grabbed him with her trunk, threw him. He died. The city council had a meeting how to put this " criminal beast" to her death. they took a heavy chain,latched it around her neck, hooked it up to a very high crank, and proceeded to tow her up to hang her, this would be shear torture, very slow as well. the chain broke, she came crashing to the ground, no doubt breaking some bones, they hauled her back up again, hung her till she died, left her hanging there for weeks, till they could stand the smell of her rotting flesh no more. I guess this was done to teach all the other elephants a lesson! This was most cruel & barbaric , a horriable mistreatment to this poor elephant. No excuse for this act justifies this.

Now I said my peace so you all can understand me a little better. I too have faults, I ask for forgiveness for offending anyone. this is not how  Jesus  wants me to be like, cold hearted. , unkind, unloving, lashing out in anger. Again I admit I acted wrongfully. I will do my up-most to be more kind & thoughtful, while giving my opinion & blogs.

I do still hold to the teens being up to no good & in the wrong.

we capture wild animals from their native habitat to save & rescue them from poachers & animal slayers, lock them up in cages and zoos so they will be safe, only to be poached & harrassed by punk , trouble-making brats! Those young men were up to no good! what were they going to do? torture the poor tiger? kill it? sale it's body parts on the black market? well, I don't feel any pity for those men. They knew it is a dangerous carnarvore! It's obivious they unlocked the tigers gate. it's obivious they were looking for trouble. they got what they were looking for. I hope that young man died  a fearful and painful death.  I have no pity for him, I pity the tiger.The  kid got what he deserved, to bad the other young men made it out a live, and the poor tiger, who was suppose to be safe in the zoo is now dead. tragic & unfair to the tiger! The father speaking on his dead boy made me sick! defending him when the brat was in the wrong! The Zoo Officials should sue those parents & surviving young men for tresspassing, breaking & entering, damages, and the full value of the price of the tiger. I'm sick & tired of people preying on animals as though they don't have any sences to fear, pain, trauma, or death.  We need tougher laws to protect animals and children. These young men knew they were in the wrong, that's why they snuck in, in the darkness. They should get the book thrown at them to teach others a lesson as well.

I'm sick of hearing & seeing mankind rip apart the lives of animals as though they mean nothing, men hunting wolves by helicopter, the evil, unkind way they slaughter animals for meat, the slaying of whales, dolphins, animals for their fur so the overly rich society snobs can look like over stuffed arrogant beauties! I hate the way man transports horses & slaughter them, most inhumane. I'm sick of mankind tortureing dogs & cats, like in Porto Rico, the Philipians, Italy, and here in the  U. S.A.. I'm sick of mankind thinking he has the right to kill & destroy other lives. I can see why God said what He said in Genesis 6:5-6.

                                  It has been brought to my attention that the hr587 bill  is passed  and that the horse-slayers are appealing the decision to ban horse slaughtering.

 

 

 

                                                                               It has been a grievous battle to try and stop the brutal, and hideous way these majestic horses are transported and cruelly put to death by torture and cold hearts. We want the appeal to be over thrown. These greedy monsters are not caring humans, they are looking only at the loss to their bank accounts.! They care nothing for what these animals fear, and suffer, emotional or physically. We humbly  implore you for your support to save these horses from this exploitation and suffering. No animal should ever be forced to suffer this anguish and trauma. Isn't it bad enough to have to die let alone in such brutal tormenting torturous ways? We also ask to stop the sales and transporting  of our American horses to Mexico, Canada and any other countries. Why is it, when there is a problem ,such as over population, ( animal & human) the minds of mankind 's answer is to "kill" and be rid of the problem? Or to get rich, exploit the weaker & less fortunate( whether it be on 2 legs or 4 legs)? Clearly mankind’s way of solving problems /getting rich, is going in the wrong direction...proof? Your getting allot of opposition  concerning the cause and effects.

As I have written and called your office many times on these , and other important issues, and told you I am your constituent. With all do respect to you and your busy schedule, I hope to be heard and taken seriously in this matter, for I do not stand alone in this important matter. Please help disallow and prevent this appeal and loop holes. Save these majestic horses from these brutal killing fields.

This  one should keep us all thinking.  I  chose #2, now you pick one.  Scripture
tells us that it is the FOOL who says in his heart that there is no God. This  is a true story of something that happened just a few years ago at  USC.

~~~~~~~ There  was a professor of philosophy there who was a deeply committed  atheist. 
His  primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire  semester to prove
that God couldn't  exist. His students were always afraid to argue with him because
of his impeccable logic. Sure,  some had argued in class at times, but no one had
ever really gone  against him because of his reputation.    At  the end of every semester on the last day, he would say to his  class of 300 students,
"If there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up!"    In  twenty years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to do next.
He would say, "Because anyone who believes in  God is a fool. If  God existed, he
could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking. Such a simple task
to prove that He is God,  and yet He can't do it."    And  every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom and it would
shatter into a hundred pieces. All  of the students would do nothing but stop and stare. 
Most  of the students thought that God couldn't exist. Certainly, a number of Christians
had slipped through, but for 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up.   Well,  a few years ago there was a freshman who happened to  enroll. He was a Christian,
and had heard the stories about his professor. He  was required to take the class for his
major, and he was afraid.  But for three months that semester, he prayed every morning
that  he would have the courage to stand up no matter what the professor said, or what the
class thought. Nothing  they said could ever shatter his faith...he hoped!   Finally, the day came. The professor said, "If there is anyone here who still believes in God,
stand up!" The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood
up at the back of  the classroom.   The  professor shouted, "You FOOL!!!  If God existed, he would keep this piece of chalk
from breaking when  it hit the ground!"   He  proceeded to drop the chalk, but as he did, it slipped out of his  fingers, off his shirt cuff,
onto the pleat of his pants, down his leg, and off his shoe. As it hit the ground, it simply rolled
away unbroken. The professor's jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk. He looked up at the
young man, and then ran out of the lecture  hall. The  young man who had stood, proceeded
to walk to the front of the room and shared his faith in Jesus for the next half hour. 300 students

well hi every one. I haven't written anything since Montana passed away. I am fighting a severe depression.  It so different here at home. even tho I still have Dixie & Zacchaeus....there is an empty spot that nothing can fill. I miss him & Mejara.....there is nothing like a rottweiler...the best dog God ever made.( now I love all dogs & animals) but I have had four rotts, and they really comunicate & understand, & love, better than most humans have shown me in my life. don't misunderstand me, please. I love God and people .but I love my dogs as well. they were real companions & friends, full of love and comfort and play. They were always happy to see me and welcome me home. they were great company, and alot of fun. they made me happy, they protected me and kept me safe. my life was good & content then. I guess I am just reaching out to anyone who may come across this, & that maybe you would say a little prayer for me  if you think about me. thank you.
