WHO CARES that Hispanics outnumber Americans in births this year? What the hell is so impressive about that? Why do American politicians think that numbers should drive policies and practices at the State and Federal levels? Heck, even if only 10% of us LEGAL Americans exist, the laws should be written and upheld for OUR beneift, to protect OUR country, to maintain OUR PRIDE in AMERICA.
We have NO cause to change our laws to accomodate CRIMINALS.
GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY. You KNOW who you are. You casually drive in the EXIT ONLY lane thinking you're going to sneak back in to the thru-traffic lane. And to avoid facing the people who really need to get off at 4th or 3rd Streets, or the people you're about to cut off, you engage in a frivolous phone call and attempt to ignore the rightfully PISSED OFF drivers with a REAL purpose in life.
Go ahead, keep doing that. When the back of your sorry ass car with your innocent child in the back seat (you can't be that stupid that you'd actually forego the child seat requirement...) will meet the front of a Hummer or heck, even a US Postal step-van, could the sight of your injured child or passengers jolt you into reality? Sorry to say, but you'd be so pre-occupied with pointing fingers and collecting insurance company information, that it will take a passer-by to bring the bleeding child's face to your attention.
Accident: Wednesday August 8, 2007 7:40am - Harbor Freeway, Downtown Exit. The driver can do nothing more than yell at the other driver for "not letting her in". Fortunately an LAPD witnessed that SHE entered the Exit Only lane (to the right) to pass cars. Her daughter, 3 years old, crawled out of the car seat, opened the back door and proceeded to step out into traffic. The "mother" is an attorney.
