  Jillian asked the question on the nutri-system commercial as they thru the football to her, now how many woman can do that? Well, I'm here to tell you there are 30 woman on the team that I coach who can do that and more. I have to say I was really skeptical  about woman playing football,but now that I have been coaching for 1/2 a season I have to say WOW!!! these woman can hit and really play the game. Our team consist of single moms,nurses,counselors,teachers,professional's in different field's,etc. There are 40 teams across the country.  We are 3-0 and after this weekend if everything goes right we will be in position to make a run for the Championship,last year we were 7-1 and lost by one point in a playoff.  The expectations for this team are very high, we are expected to go 8-0. The problem with womans football is the exposure and the quality of some of the teams,the woman do not get paid, so they have to work. Many times its hard for them to make it to practice,so some days we have 17 players other days 35,and when its time to travel 45 woman could show up. We survive through sponsorships. The sponsorship covers travel,practice fields,game fields,programs etc. Its tough financially,but the woman Love it so they work hard to be able to play.
