Boy..am I mad!  After enjoying a nice meal, I come out to my car and find that someone hit me while pulling in or out of a parking stall.  No note..nothing.  Just a piece of the plastic wheel fender dangling near the tire, along with a black scrape on my white vehicle that isn't even six months old.  For crying out loud!  I guess the damage could be a lot worse.  But c'mon, how difficult is it to pull in and out of a parking space?  I was parked correctly, well within the lines...and wham-o.  I know the culprit must've known they hit my car.  Maybe they didn't care.  Has this happened to you or someone you know.  If so, you know the feeling.  It's a real pain in the.....

my friend was parking his car, and was going too fast and wacked the car next to him. since no one saw, he decided to park in a different spot. so as he backed out to find another spot he wasn't paying attention that the car behind us was backing out. so wham, 2 cars got hit in less then 30 seconds. lol. i guess that's what you get when you do a hit n run. lol. but the 2nd person struck didnt get hurt, nor was the car damaged. so she just let us go. but car #1, was a bit scratched.

then i have a friend who has a nice fixed up car, and believes his car is so cool that it needs 2 parking spaces. so here it is chrismas time, and people are looking for parking spaces but it's packed, and what do they see? my friend car hogging 2 spaces. lol.

You can thank Jerry Brown for removing Driver's Ed from the high schools back in the early 80s...I find that many people don't know how to steer their vehicles in some tight spots. These people steer their wheels when their car or truck isn't moving, then when they move, they nearly strike another car next to them, if they don't already. To make things worse, when they steer without moving, it tears up asphalt faster than a car moving and steering. I don't blame you for being a bit ticked off Al. By the way, do you know if there was a surveillance camera around? I know that some store chains have an outside surveillance camera...Target is one such store. I hope this place where you ate had one. I also hope you have a good body shop to fix your car, if it still needs to be fixed.

The OC's my beat for FOX 11 News. But you can catch me covering just about any story, any place, any time. Have news, will travel! I've been doing that here at Fox 11 for 15 years, traveling coast to coast and south of the border. You never know what you might do or where you might end up and your assignment could change from one minute to the next. To me, that's what being a reporter is all about. And it's pretty cool working in an area where I was born and raised. Yep, I'm a native Angeleno and proud of it!! In case you're wondering, Naipo is Hawaiian, the short version of the 21-letter ancestral name, Naipoikamanaihookaahi....
Good luck on the pronunciation.
