Abunai's Blog

I took American Govt. and Political Science classes in college in Boulder Colorado, with a professor that was a senior member of Gary Hart's Presidential campaign.  I have delt with some of the most radical of liberals and anti-war folks next to Berkley anyone can find in America.  But recently we have seen some of the PoliSci Dept. of UCF's work posted here, and its rather interesting.  I'm new to Florida, so I don't really know the "political air" of UCF, but if the recent examples are reflective of it, all I can say is WOW!

The facts being portrayed as correct, to the point of arrogant challenges to all that post here are quite incomplete, and IMO cross over to propaganda.  I sure hope that we have some facualty at UCF that has some sort of teaching ethic that points to a little more depth in the field of politics than Daily KOS, or Huffington Post talking points!

What say you?

Well ya know what.. I think maybe we should give the Dean of students a call. If we indeed have a professor spewing anti-american propaganda, or neglecting to teach via all the facts available, then it needs to be exposed. I love when Hannity or Bill Oreily go to colleges and address them myself, I think this might warrent some public attention. As much money as colleges make on our kids, they better be on the up and up IMO.

PoliSci has been for as LONG as I've been alive a Venue for the Socialist's Liberals to further their agenda through the Indoctrination of our Youth..

It can be said that the Power of Liberism today owes it's success to this program..

Where ONCE we,, as Americans,, rejected and SCOFFED at the "Crazy" Notions of a FEW such Professors in such notorious locations as Berkley and THUS ignored their shenanigans,, we NOW face a WHOLE GENERATION of their Graduates..

It is FAR from an exxageration to say fully and with ALL DUE CONVICTION,,,,

They ARE the GREATEST Threat that America has EVER faced.. Bar NONE...

I was lucky in the sense that even the largest of liberal professors, knew who I was and my background and afforded me a TON of leash in his class in Boulder. I think at first he was waiting for me to dig my own hole, but instead, I challenged the liberal biased with facts, and historical perspective.

I actually got an 86 out of BOTH of his classes, and have full respect for him. I think what might have happend is just down the street Ward Churchill had just blow the roof off the liberal machine and they were all gun shy after that.

Abunai you should be banned for doing this. You don't even know if this is truly the man who's information you've posted all over the board. I think this is the deepest violation I've seen on these boards and has made me totally rejudge your character. I'm very disappointed to see you stoop to this level.

I haven't down anything but paste the same public material that took 3 minutes to Google.

I see the webteam here scrubed all the comments off, and that goes to their character. Meanwhile the team here, and others will do the same with AP stories that are literally filled with incorrect facts!

I was also fair enough to contact the UCF and inform them of this Professor being put out here in these blogs BY HIS OWN STUDENT ACCORDING TO HIS STATEMENTS. The material published by the Professor are public view and if its too much for you to have to see, then maybe you should be rejudging your convictions Sageman.

If it wasn't for people standing up to the advanced system of education and its liberal bias in this country we would have never learned of the Ward Churchills, and William Hears types here. Are you upset to see such idealism Sageman or upset that you can't stick your head in the sand and pretend its not there? I guess you will have to sort that out yourself. I've made my decission. Freedom of Speach does not mean you can go without being responed to or questioned.

Sorry I thought you had attached UCFPolisciguy's personal info. My bad, I believe in freedom of speech but I also believe people have a right to their anonymity in these forums.

I also would agree that their is strong liberal bias at many schools but I would also note that students learn from this as well. Most learn the world is not black and white once they leave school.

Well Sageman... Liberal or not, so long as you weigh all facts in your decission and shaping of your own stance on issues, or political faith, thats fine. But when the colleges are not teaching critical thinking, or helping students learn how to absorb or process what they are exposed to and just "programmed" then we are doing our nation a disservice!

I tell ya what, when I send my kids off to school, if I find out they are being programmed, I will actually step in! I already do it at the Public school level...

I have had to destroy chemistry teachers for 9/11 conspiracy teaching in the classroom, and expose global warming nuts that won't offer both sides of the issue.

Abunai, before it was UCF, it was FTU ( Florida Technological University ) it was a far more conservative a university as well. So is it all in a name or have just the times changed ? It would seem that anymore the Words political and science shouldn't be used in conjunction. Bad science sounds better and a far better description !
